We came to the Lost Roo on our last day of a wonderful car tour through Washington and Oregon. They accommodated about 30 of us at two long tables in a sunny alcove of the restaurant, which was very nice. Not sure if this menu was just for us - (it was quite crumpled) but it shows some of the menu selections. I had the chowder, which was good but lukewarm and a Caesar salad with extra anchovies ($1 for many large anchovies). Nice place to say our farewells to the group!

This little building might look like just another drive-through espresso stand, but don't be fooled. Along with coffee drinks, they serve absolutely fresh and delicious salads, along with sandwich specials, smoothies and juices.Their Red Berry Salad is one of the best salads I've ever had anywhere -- spinach and romaine topped with craisins, feta cheese, slivered almonds, avocado, fresh strawberries and raspberries, served with a fresh house-made strawberry vinaigrette dressing. Add some shredded chicken and you've got enough for a dinner and enough left over for lunch the next day.It can be hard to find a place to get fast and fresh food to go on the Long Beach peninsula, especially during the winter months. Roots is open all winter and has cheerful staff waiting to serve you.

Had lunch here while on a family getaway. We all had different items.... mostly sandwiches and we all liked the food. Good service too. Would recommend.

My daughter and I dined at the Cove on April 4, 2019. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Especially enjoyed the live music of the solo guitarist. Don't hear Samba Pa Ti on classical guitar everyday! The proximity to the golf course is misleading...this is not your typical golf course chow. Go early to beat the crowd! Thanks to your and your daughter for eating at The Cove. Our service team tries hard to make every visit special. We're happy that you enjoyed our live music. We'll keep up the good service, tasty food, and live music. We hope to see you soon. Doug B. (Owner)
