I would give this place 3.5 stars. All I read and heard was how great the salad bar was - it was adequate. There certainly was a nice variety of choices, but nothing special or unique. The soups were a little better than average but I wasn't running back for more. I am not a desert guy but they offered a good variety of items.I did find it amusing that when we came we were told it was a ten minute wait, which I didn't mind but what was odd was that the place had lots of empty tables. I had broiled Whitefish and was happily surprised at the taste and good sized portion. The rice pilaf I had as a side was ok. The best part was the bill - very reasonable. I can see why this a popular destination - portions are solid and the price is good. I was hoping for a beer with dinner but there is no alcohol served at this particular establishment - I had water.Would I return - yes.

This little cafe is adorable; staff is very friendly. We stopped for a cup of coffee and my husband had the mixed berry scone. The scone was flavorful and full of berries. I cannot speak to the foods; however; the coffee was as strong as a brown crayon melted in hot water! Awful, the coffee I drink out of the vending machines in the hospital taste better. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee, this is not the place!!!
After undergoing a complete renovation in 2018, the Village Tavern has become the exemplification of contemporary cabin style. Completed with a full bar, fresh pine walls, and a stone gas fireplace - its warm and welcoming atmosphere will surely fit any o
We stopped by on a cold snowy day. It was nice to sit by the fire place. Service was good. We all enjoyed in our food. Apparently, they had recently redone the look of the place. The inside was very nice. We loved the log cabin field.
