Friendly service. Lots of healthy, vegan and non-vegan, options for pressed sandwiches, wraps, and salads including build your own. Plus, soups, various grits options on weekends, many types of teas (creative and standard), several draft beers, wine, mimosas. desserts and lots more. Sandwich bread options include gluten free as well as wheat, rye and pumpernickel. All good, if not really special.Veggie sandwich with cheeses, sprouts and more was great. Turkey and Swiss build your own on rye with arugula, tomato and black olives was fine. Would have been better with fresh turkey, but with a menu as big as theirs, it might not be possible, given the sales volume. Accompanying Asian Slaw was a bit too sweet, but really delightful.Funky, health food, artsy atmosphere more fun than self-conscious. Well worth a visit. When we return, weâll try to soup.

PJ's St. Pete Beach is a family friendly seafood restaurant that serves fresh local seafood. Along with seafood we have the best ribs this side of St. Louis, awesome burgers, salads and chicken entrees. PJ's has a full bar with over 60 bottle beers and 8
Recently, Lynn and I took our family who was here from Colorado to PJâs who were on the way to their weekend beach accommodations. Ryan, our server was terrific and enthusiastic. PJâs is reasonable and casual. We started with a hefty order of Calamari ($9.99). Lynn had a shrimp salad croissant with clam chowder ($7.00). I also had the shrimp Salad with fish chowder. I was quite pleased with the way that our orders came out. A very nice experience.

The Hurricane was established in July 1977 on the Island of St. Pete Beach in Historic Pass-A-Grille. Family owned and operated we take pride in serving the Freshest Black Grouper, Sandwiches, Appetizers, Dinners, Salads, Shrimp, Pasta, Steaks, Full bar,
We always hit the rooftop bar for the.most amazing views! That's why I gave our visit 3 stars. The bartender ALMOST spoiled our visit but the views were so amazing and we had a great seat under the turret so that kept us there for one round. We've been here several times before with decent service but took our party of 7 (included 5 Sarasotians) next door after the first round. She was crabby about us ordering food which can only be brought up in to-go containers..yeah, NO. Wish they'd change that policy. She was irritated, in general and just not cool. Kinda over this place.

Spinners has always been a go to spot for breathtaking views and good food. Usually stop for a drink before we head up for dinner. Next time it will be drinks only and we will skip dinner at spinners. First the drinks on 11th floor were good and the bartender was awesome, friendly and efficient Spinners. Service was just âokâ food was not. The grouper with crab mashed potatoes was subpar with the crab piled on top of the mashed potatoes and both were tepid. The ravioli was ok, but swimming in a marinara that tasted like ketchup. Would have asked for a new plate of grouper given the temp but never saw our waiter again until we had someone find him for the check. Was always a go to spot but this is the second visit in a row with less than good service and food.Dear DawnT964,I would like to apologize for not meeting your expectations in Spinners. We have build a great reputation over the years for providing great food and exceptional service. It would seem that we let you down on your last visit with us. I have talked with our service staff and the culinary team about the issues that you have brought up. I truly do appreciate you taking the time to write this review as it is very important information for me. We have made the necessary adjustments to ensure this will not happen again.Sincerely,Todd

Since 1948, Leverock's has been providing great seafood and great service in a casual setting at reasonable prices. A favorite with locals and visitors alike.
On general principals I will go at least once to any restaurant won in a card game. Leverock's has one of the better Florida restaurant back stories that you will find this side of Key West.We arrived early so I tried a $2.99 happy hour martini which was pretty good. Denise, our waitress, brought out some really good bread fresh out of the oven. I had the Fresh Fish Trio for $12.99. Part of the trio was a lettuce wedge salad with bacon bits and blue cheese dressing which was a great starter. My entree -- a decent-size piece of blackened salmon and a tiny cup of lobster bisque arrived. We decided that calling it a cup of soup would have been an exaggeration. We settled on ramekin of soup. That said, it was amazingly thick and good. Best four spoonfuls of lobster bisque I've had in a long time. The salmon also was good. Not overdone but cooked through. My wife had the crab cakes which were underwhelming. She let me have a few bites. I think it certainly is possible that those cakes had been in the same room as crab meat. Whether any crab meat got into the cakes I'm not so sure. Our friend had the mahi mahi which she said was good but not amazing.Denise, our server, was delightful. She answered all of our questions cheerfully. She delivered our food at a speed that would do any Greek diner proud. The atmosphere was very nice. Not noisy at all but then we were eating at 5:30PM. There is plenty of parking in the back.Overall a very good experience. If we were in the area and looking for a place to get good service and decent seafood at a very reasonable price, then we would pick Leverock's every time. I'll be back to this 70+ year old St. Petersburg tradition.Thank you for the very informative review. It sounds like the overall experience was pretty good, but could have been better for you. The Fresh Fish Trio on the early menu is a combination meal that is smaller portions, and you are right about the ramekin of soup. We do offer upgrading to an 8 oz cup or 12 oz bowl for anyone that likes a larger portion of soup. The crab cakes that you mentioned are the Leverock's style crab cakes on the early menu. They do have crab in them, but also have surimi and breading and are deep fried. For those who like solid lump meat crab cakes, we do have Maryland style crab cakes on our dinner menu, and they are available all day. Hopefully, that will offer you some alternatives. We're so glad you tried our restaurant. We thank you for your thoughtful feedback, and we look forward to seeing you again.
