Reataurant (including 80 cover outside terrace with outstanding views over Strangford Lough), Farm Shop including bakery, Gift Shop and Plant Nursery / Garden Centre
Came here on recommendation from a friend. Husband ordered the farmhouse fry which was like a standard fry but double with additional beans- he couldnât finish it. I choose the normal fry which again was like a belly buster fry. The homemade hash brown with cheese and onion is delicious and very filling. Staff attentive and really quick service. Would definitely recommend and return next time we head off down the coast

This is a restaurant withing the National Trust Property at Mountstewart, County Down in Northern Ireland. Widely used by tourists as the gardens are world famous.
More coffee and snacks than restaurant...at least during the day. The food is acceptable but I think it is quite pricey for what it is. Just had soup and sandwiches and the children's menu is ok. It is basically self service café.

Local food served fresh, hot and at great quality! Value for money, a great place to dine or meet friends for a cuppa and a chat. Private hire available for parties, bookings welcome, wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Sunday roasts to rival any gastro cu
Popped in for breakfast this morning with my baby twins and was very impressed with the selection of food available (and the fact my very wide pram was able to fit through the front door - it's not always guaranteed!). Sam and Georgie gave us such a warm welcome and were very accomodating, even scrambling up some eggs for my little ones. I ordered the breakfast wrap which came quickly and was hot, fresh and delicious. I even had the chance to explore the garden and was amazed, it is beautiful and far larger than I had expected! In short - lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food. I'll be back again soon and very much look forward to enjoying a coffee in the garden. What a haven.Cara, it was so lovely meeting you- your babies are scrumptious! I'm so glad you found us, and we look forward to seeing you again very soon! (I'll try to remember some bubbles for the wee ones next time!)x
