Trattoria L'Angoletto , a seafood restaurant in Civitavecchia , where you can enjoy all the good taste of the Mediterranean Sea. Class cuisine, which brings to the table delicacies and fine seafood: reserve a table at Trattoria L'Angoletto , near Civitave
Spent one night in civitavecchia prior to our cruise. Our Rome cabs driver,"Enza", recommend L'angoletto and were we greatful she did . My wife and I were both tired from traveling and found ourselves staring at the menu. Fabrizio made it easy for us suggesting salad and seafood. He then brought out a tray of lobster and shrimp all alive and moving and we got to select the ones used for our salad. The salad was fabulous. Fabrizio then suggested a pasta and brought out a tray of mushrooms for us to choose which would be used. The pasta was delicious. Over the remainder of our holiday we had some great meals and we spent four days in Rome upon completion of the cruise and there were some great restaurants there, but our absolute favorite meal was at L'angoletto. If your staying in civitavecchia prior to your cruise you must dine at L'angoletto and let Fabrizio take care of you.

We were in Civitavecchia for an upcoming cruise. The hotel receptionist recommended this local establishment over several other recommendations. It was a short walk and definitely worth it. We would have never found this place due to the short time we were in town. We were greeted at the door, shown a table and given menus. Here's a rundown of our meal: gnocchi with pumpkin flowers and cheese; mussels and clam soup; mixed fried fish; grilled shrimp; spaghetti with mussels and clams.Everything was excellent and we enjoyed the whole evening. This is definitely a place you need to eat at when in Civitavecchia.

Well, one thing is for sure: fish has to be cooked in the most simple way so considerino this, and considerino you can find the same things in all the restaurants by the sea...they cook it very well and they have a varoius range of fresh fish(pescato) and also they try to present it in a nice way and service is really good very kind and professional.

Called here on a Sunday lunch time.We were off the cruise ship and having done the âRomeâ tours before decided to look around the town of Civitavecchia. The city is the main port for Cruise ships starting and finishing cruise and with 4 cruise ships in and being a Sunday it was pretty busy.Anyway came upon this Trattoria tucked away on the city walls and were able to get a table although by the time we left it had been taken over by the locals and was heaving. We were made very welcome and the service was really good. The menu was pretty much fish based but plenty of antipasti which we opted for. Bread was fresh on the table and the local wine was excellent. Now we know when we call here on cruises there is a nice little oasis to head for and be able to relax with the locals.

The starters was okay, the shrimp cocktail a bit boring, but okay. For main course we had risotto with seafood, and also not so much taste. But the pasta with seafood was very, very nice and tasty! Cosy place, with good view over the sea. But there is probably more to this menu then we had chosen, so pick the pasta or something else.

Ristorante Il Delfino, local situated on the seafront in Civitavecchia. Great prices, traditional dishes and also special. Meat and fish.
We were walking around Civitavecchia looking for somewhere to eat dinner. We decided on a "white table" restaurant and walked into Il Dielfino by chance. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and seated in a quiet part of the restaurant. We discussed the menu choices, which turned out to be wonderful. Our friends had the dorado which was taken off the bone by our wonderful waiter. My wife and I had the zucchini and potato crusted fish was one of the best we have ever had.We were given the local dessert to try. It's similar to an Italian trifle with a local liqueur. We enjoyed it immensely... and then they gave is cookies to enjoy with our coffee.Despite all of this it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back when we return to Civitavecchia later in the year.

Only a very small choice of dishes on the menu during my visit, (or maybe because I don't like cheese the choice is limited). however the waitress who spoke good English recommended a fish and pasta dish which was lovely, as was the house wine. can't fault the service.

any time I come back to Italy I make a visit to Claudio's reign in Civitavecchia the bistrot "Pane amore e fantasia" and I always find something new, something special. This time a great antipasto caldo e freddo, delicious fettuccine with bottarga, turbante di pesce bandiera with mashed potatoes and an excellent tender "tuna fish " incrosta with pistachos. Then for dessert a delicate "cannolo siciliano" and coffee. A large choice of wines with selected brands from different regions. We had a delicate, aromatic Gewurtztraminer from Alto Adige.thank you so much for your wonderful words.we are very pleased to know that we have customers outside Italy.see you next time. claudio
