In business 29 years. Phone is (508) 347-9771
We were a party of four that enjoyed the soup, quiche and salad specials. I personally enjoyed the fact that they also had not your average run-of-the-mill sodas available for beverages. The food was terrific, the service was very efficient and friendly, and it's a cozy, charming, eclectic kind of a place. We also saved room for some homemade dessert. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her blueberry pie ala mode and I loved the brownie sundae. This is an excellent spot for lunch when in the Sturbridge area.
good place for a sub sandwich when shopping at walmart. The grinders are good and well prepared.

Established in 1986, Margaux's is the original! We feature our exclusive combinations, specialty wraps, deli salads, and homemade soups. Also serving chili & taco salads, barbecue & ruben sandwiches. Truly the best deli in town!
I had passed by Margaux's for years and finally had a chance to grab lunch one afternoon while headed through Southbridge. Obviously, I had been hearing amazing things about the deli for years and had pretty high expectations and was quite thrilled to finally giving it a try. It's a small deli, only a few people working (three on the day I was there) - really, nothing special. I had to greet staff...no one welcomed me, no one even said hello. The specials are listed on a menu board on the SIDE of the counter...so, I had to ask and I got a finger pointed to the side of the wall. Placed my order of a sandwich, soup and chips. Price are on the high side of average for sandwiches...cold sandwiches at that...and soup. And, sorry to say it but my sandwich was only average too. All in all, not impressed...an average sandwich shop. What I like and applaud is that it's likely a independently owned shop and, that, I fully support. Staff should really be trained a bit more though as a little personality can go a long way.

Sturbridge Seafood is offers a variety of creatively prepared dishes from sea and land featuring the freshest seafood the area has to offer. Our menu changes almost daily to reflect what is available. From award-winning chowder to shared plates to entrees
I have had fish and chips every time we go. It is so good, nice thick fish and perfectly seasoned hand cut fries. Hubby tries something different and has loved it all. Wonderful servers, Chelsea and Briana.

We've been taking a week in New England each Autumn for more than 30 years; the first night of the trip each year we stop in Sturbridge at The Publick House. This year's "opening dinner" did not disappoint. The roasted duck was lovely, and the rib eye was juicy.... cooked long enough to render the fat and moisten the steak, but plenty rare.White chowder and the wedge salad were delicious.... and the Indian pudding was just like it always is- delicious. Our waiter was CHARLES. He's a gem. When you make your reservations (and you should) ask to be seated with Charles. He's attentive and quick, and has as splendid sense of humor..

I've stopped here a few times for breakfast and it's fast service, good basic breakfast staples and friendly atmosphere. What more do you want in the morning before your first cup of coffee?
