Reviews on Soups food in Carson City, Nevada, United States. A city of natural beauty, charm, history and western hospitality, this state capital derived its name from Kit Carson, the legendary trapper, scout and explorer. A trip to the city is a living history lesson. One need only jump on the Kit Carson Trail downtown, which passes old mansions, courthouses, a depot and a brewery, to experience a taste of life in the Old West. Also downtown, the State Capitol, built in 1870, offers a look at the birth of Nevada as a state and Carson City as its capital. Other historic landmarks, cultural heritage centers and museums dot the landscape around town, but don't forget your clubs. The city is well-known for the Divine Nine, a group of top-rated area courses designed by pros such as Arnold Palmer, Johnny Miller and John Harbottle and set amid the magnificent Sierra Mountains. After a little golf, gambling or sightseeing, spend some down time at the Carson City Hot Springs. You will emerge feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for more exciting endeavors.

Food is so good and fresh that I've eaten here twice in the last month. Lots of meal options to choose from, but of course the fresh rolls and the soups are where it's at. Definitely a must to eat at if you are feeling under the weather, the pho soup specials will take care of you.

Everything about Scoups is perfect! The location on McFadden Plaza, in the heart of Carson City's downtown/historic district couldn't be more convenient, whether sightseeing, attending an event on the plaza, or just strolling downtown. The rotating menu always provides unexpected and delicious soup and ice cream flavors. They also serve fresh salads and sliders. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the dining area is clean, bright, and pleasant.

This place is basically a sandwich shop that also has soups, salads and wraps. The braised Tri-Tip sandwich is very good and the soup tastes home made. But this place is S-L-O-W, at least the two times I was there. Last time I went in at 11:35 on a Friday. I stood in line for fifteen minutes just to place my order. Then it was another 15 to get my lunch. If you have time to kill, it's a good choice because the food is good. But don't count on it over your lunch break.
