This is the second visit within a few weeks. The first was on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was absolutely full. Nevertheless, the service was efficient and the food was excellent. We returned today, Saturday lunchtime and the restaurant was much less busy and, obviously, we enjoyed the experience much more. We started with the 'crudite' which were perfectly fresh, we followed this with risotto (frutti di mare) which was to die for and finally, some of the group opted for the mixed fish grill which was first class whilst others went for the fried fish option. This Saturday lunch experience was incredibly good and we are sure to return. Highly reccommended !!!!!

The staff here took care of our party of nearly 20 very well. A great special menu started with an appetizer tray of cooked seafood. The octopus tentacle was fantastic! We also had a course of salt cooked sea bass that was moist and tasteful. The dessert of puff pastry with banana cream filling was so good that I will be searching for a suitable recipe for back home.

Went to eat at this place twice with an Italian Business partner and I love it both times. The ambiance is great and the service is great and the food is really really delizioso. I will definitely eat here again when I go back to Italia. Grazie La Barrique for a great dine in experience. :)

I would give this place 8/10. Plenty of choices and all fresh and plentiful. My only criticism is that the edamame was tasteless and the miso soup cold and bland . The other dishes were fine, service was excellent and would go back again

This is by far the highest quality sushi you can find in town!! Given the prices and the location, you will definitely pay a little more, but if you *really* know how good sushi is, then you won't be disappointed and will be happy to pay the price which, by the way, is not too far from other high-end restaurants. A must try: hotate (scallop) sashimi and the sushi 'bigne' (fish-only roll). Also, their plain rice is just delicious, which is to me another good test for Japanese food ;) Service is really good and so is the selection of 'osake'! The restaurant also offer delivery service. If you don't like the prices here or you think the sushi isn't that good, then I'm sorry but you probably haven't eaten good sushi before. Enjoy!Thank you very much for your kind review. I hope to see you again.Roberto
