Fisherman's Cove is a local, family-owned seafood shack and fishing-marine supply store specializing in fresh local oysters that are grown on Tamales Bay. We serve them on the half shell or barbecued with your choice of six different house specialty sauce
This is a little dive place on the water but not even really a restaurant. There are shared tables and countertops where people just sit and wait for their food. To give you an idea, they also sell bait, tackle, lifevests and other items needed for being out on the water. You stand in line and place your order and then are given a number you take to where there is a place to sit. No real silverware or glassware or anything even remotely close. Paper cups and plastic is all you are getting in this place. But both my husband and I had barbecue oysters, two different types I had the chorizo and lemon butter. I honestly canât remember what he had but we both absolutely loved the food. And we both had bowls, not cups, of clam chowder. I used to live in New England so I know clam chowder fairly well. Never tasted anything like this. Absolutely amazing! I have never tasted minced carrots and celery which seem to be raw to me that were dumped into the clam chowder before it was served. These were a little teeny specks of vegetables that were crunchy. I just loved the contrast between the creamy chowder and the crunchy veggies. And speaking of creamy, thatâs what it was not clumpy. So often when I order clam chowder it is so thick with additives that it is almost like oatmeal. True clam chowder, in my opinion, should be creamy, not watery, but not oatmeal either. This place hit it out the park. Not cheap either. I think 4 barbecued oysters were $17, but worth every penny! Would go back anytime! Note: I did not comment on Service since there was no service!!!intrepidtraveler23, we're beyond happy to read that the BBQ oysters and clam chowder really blew you out of the water! We do things a little different here, and we're so thrilled you appreciated the veggies in the chowder as well as the simplicity of it all. We really hope you make it back our way again soon! All the best,Fisherman's Cove Team

Great food, friendly service and spectacular views await you at Lucas Wharf Restaurant in Bodega Bay. We are a waterfront seafood restaurant on the beautiful Sonoma Coast, about 1-1/2 hours north of San Francisco and just minutes away from the wine countr
The food wasn't bad but not the best. We had a friendly waiter who was attentive. The dipping sauce for the calamari wasn't good at all. I appreciate they tried doing something different but it just wasn't working. It's nice to sit inside and look at the sea lions and relax while eating dinner.

The Occidental Union Hotel was established in 1879. It has been in the Gonnella Family since 1925. The Historic building houses a cafe, saloon, dining room, and The Bocce Ballroom. The cafe opens at 6 am every morning serving freshly baked pastries and co
Who says you can't go back home again. Every dining experience at the Union Hotel is like being home. Every patron is treated like family. Barb (one of the owners) is a goddess who makes everyone feel special. Gien, Barbâs daughter, is an all-star and the sweetest. The Gonnella family has owned this establishment since 1879. They have managed to maintain the standards that made The Union Hotel excellent while incorporating progressive additions. My family has been coming here for generations, and we have never been disappointed. The food is unbelievable. Authentic Italian. Once you experience the Union Hotel you will continue to return. The restaurant is charming. There is a very quaint Saloon, and a beautiful outdoor patio. I also have to mention the Bakery with the best chocolate, chocolate chip cookies ever. So yummy. I was just up there again for my birthday, and it was awesome. The pizza is so amazing, I'm still dreaming of it. Many thanks to Teddy, our server, for accommodating our special request. My other favorites are the minestrone soup, ribeye steak, ravioli, chicken parm, and polenta, etc. The dinners are family style, so come with an empty stomach, and be prepared for leftovers. Quality and quantity. If you get a chance to stay overnight, their guesthouses are so beautiful. They are surrounded by gorgeous woods, and serenity. They also host weddings in their grove, and receptions and events in their Ballroom. Just do yourself a favor, and go melt into one of the best experiences you will ever have. Unique and nostalgic. The Union Hotel is a home away from home.
