Worth a trip out here to sample lovely, delicious home cooked and baked goodies. We've been a few time, mostly at the weekend. This visit was a Friday morning, on this occasion things felt a little on the back foot, like they were not really prepared for a full house or maybe not enough staff. Menu is always limited and differs from the weekend ( which isn't big either) but that everything is cooked fresh to order, therefore takes a wee while. Soups are always quirky flavours and very delicious. Then there are the cakes and scones again odd combinations but so good. They also dated well for gluten free.Dog friendly, lovely friend oh staff too.

We took our Kinfolk to this wonderful family friendly eating establishment for a great lunch, which was lovely and a reasonably priced combo. The Staff are very friendly and hospitable. We would highly recommend this excellent cafe with an adjacent gift shop for browsing. Well worth a visit. Enjoy Cheers John

we stopped by tavern adler late in the day and the kitchen was not far off closing but the chap who was in charge was very kind and let us eat but just choose from a slightly more limited choice menu. we had nachos to share to start and they were cheesy and very yummy. then as a main we shared the steak pie which was huge. for dessert we had the mini desserts with tea or coffee...one each.. and even they were big. so go hungry...very nice food...not expensive . ..friendly staff...reccomended...

Serendipitously fell upon this charming café for a quick lunch on our way to Edinburgh. It was quite difficult to concentrate on lunch when faced with an array of sweet treats enticing you, like there is no tomorrow. Just take a look at the photos and you will know what I mean. The food is well presented, tasty and locally sourced. Prices are more than reasonable. The owners and staff will surely win you over with their friendly service. Well worth a stop if you are in Blairgowrie.
