Our family so enjoyed the salad bar with its multiple toppings: two kinds of cheese, tomatoes, egg, broccoli, olives, carrots, etc.Other salads: potato salad, black bean corn salad, a broccoli salad, etc.Breads/Crackers: cornbread and a molasses mini muffin; regular saltines and a pumpkin seed cracker.Desserts: chocolate pudding and vanilla pudding; ice cream - chocolate, vanilla and a swirl which is the two flavors combined.They also offer many sandwiches and soups. We chose to eat from their salad bar.

We were passing through Abilene on the way home last Sunday and stopped at Jason's for lunch. Jason's is always consistent and keep their salad bar fresh. Not problems on this visit.

I stopped in to eat lunch as I'm Very familiar with the McAlister's brand. It's Lunch hour they had Only one person taking Orders with a line all the way out the door, the tables were filthy and many had to clean their own tables to just sit down, several customers walked out because of the wait line to even Just order food, the Manager just kept looking around (blond, maybe 40ish) wasn't polite at all and the general atmosphere was well your here, you'll wait or Leave. I ordered a sandwich (turkey, plain Mayo only) the first one came out with Bacon and loaded to the hilt. I told the girl I only ordered turkey with Mayo, she said well maybe this is for some else, the second girl brought me out a turkey loaded again, no bacon this time lol.she said she's bring me out a different sandwich, they took it back and scraped off the "extras" this I know because they left a few tom. seeds and a couple bits of lettuce, that's plain sad for any restaurant to do, get it right! this place needs a change of management and more help, lots more help!!!Good Afternoon,Our goal at McAlisterâs Deli is to produce the best food possible while maintaining a constant superior level of service.
