Nice and modest place. Good Local Slovenian food. Check carefully before ordering what are the dishes you are asking for. The problem (is it only when we were there?) was the service. Hard to get attention and when you get it, short span of patience. We had to get help from other guests (they were nice). Some of the dishes were not for our taste; but probably made well. Come with local support.

The service was really good, our waiter recommended dishes based on our dietary restrictions. There weren't many food options for various dietary needs though. It's an open air restaurant so make sure to layer-up at night

When you enter the "Pri lovcu" restaurant, you will be immediately drawn by the tantalizing smell of venison and fish specialities. Our restaurant is the legacy of our grandfather, who always taught us that the two most important things in life are good c
If you want authentic Slovenian cooking, this isnât the place. Attached to the hotel Kristal, this place is formal and somewhat pricey for Slovenia, but food is reasonably good and the cakes are fabulous. Trout is a great option here too.

The mountain hut is located on the edge of a forest at the beginning of the glacier valley of Voje, where flows the Mostnica River. In the restaurant area there are 70 seats, a bar counter; there are 5 bedrooms with 16 beds, 24 communal beds; toilets, two
We stumbled across this little place on our hike from Ribcev Laz (Lake Bohinj) to Mostnica gorge / waterfall (a beautiful walk incidentally). Koca na Vojah wasn't actually marked as an eating place on our hiking map, so we weren't expecting to find a rest stop between the gorge and the waterfall. It turned out to be one of our two favourite eating experiences in Slovenia. We found ourselves a place on the balcony overlooking the mountains and valley - an absolutely stunning view to have with lunch. The staff were absolutely lovely. The restaurant only served rustic Slovenian soups and sweet 'pies' (though they are more cheese-cakey) but that was all we needed. The soups and pies were absolutely delicious. All the soups were vegetarian though they offered to put in meat for the carnivores.

We had half board so one of the set menu dinners. Greeted with some blueberry liqueur as a small aperitif. Then we both had the schnitzel(turkey) which was delicious. It came with the best fries and a lovely salad. We also had soup to start as well and then a nice apple dessert. The bread was also good. Pleasant service too. Would recommend if in the area.

Simple and nice restaurant, good food and friendly staff. As we just stopped for a quick recharge, we took only different kind of pizza. All super good. Staff was nice and friendly, doing some jokes to feel comfortable. I learned from my friend that also other food is very good and prices are very friendly.

The Mihovc Guesthouse lies right in the heart of the delightful village of Stara Fuzina, just 500 meters away from the magical Lake Bohinj, sacred to the Slovenians. The Guesthouse has stood since 1888, and is now beautifully renovated in the traditional
We were there in March 2019. This place was very near to our place where we stayed and we ate dinner there for 4 night. All dishes we ordered were great! We drink Travarica rakija and local beer and they were great too. Very nice moments ....As it was out of the season only Saturday was busy. Other days there were just several people like us and locals, which was indeed great

A few days before our visit to Majerca, I sent them an email, asking if we could get anything vegan there. The answer I got was that they had a vegan menu. This was excellent news for me, since Bohinj unfortunately isnât vegan friendly. I was very much looking forward to our dinner there but ended up very disappointed. Not only do they not have a vegan menu, they do not have a single vegan dish in their offer. The waitress even offered us trout as a vegan meal. Then she suggested a mixed salad they had on the menu, but with no cheese, which we agreed to. The salad, which was supposed to be a whole meal for dinner, was a few lettuce leaves with arugula, two small slices of tomato and two small slices of toasted zucchini. These two extremely small and unseasoned salads were ⬠20. They also charged us for cheese that we didnât want nor get. I donât mind paying good money for a good meal, but this is just ridiculous.Dear This is what happens when a passionate vegan clashes into part time waiters. Total catastrophy. Apocalipse. Bad review here, bad one on google. And you are right, we should better inform all of our staff about our vegan options. Namely all our stews are completely vegan, we have big salad options and vegan dishes on demand. We were probably taken by surprise as you were the first vegan huest and we will for sure learn from this experience. Anyway, don't be mad at us so badly as we are just getting in proper shape. Take care and hope to see you again so that we can see if we have improved vegan vise.

Gostilna pri Hrvatu is the actual name of the restaurant. We came here for lunch. This is a small restaurant with outdoor seating and a large menu. I had grilled trout (locally caught) with grilled vegetables and the food was quite good. My wifeâs beef goulash and polenta side order were good as well. Lunch for five with one beer and one soft drink came to â¬51.
