Donât miss this lovely place if your traveling in Sicily. Situated on a working buffalo farm this restaurant is a treat, pens of magestic healthy buffalo and a fully operational cheese making factory make this a very interesting evening adventure. Food is excellent, service great and the fresh creamy buffalo mozzarella in large plaits on each table is to die for, very enjoyable experience.

We ate A La Carte and all agreed every course was delicious. Very well combined flavours providing a great balance in the food. The service was excellent- attentive but not overwhelming. Portion sizes good and presentation delightful. Reasonable prices. Iâd highly recommend. We ended the meal feeling full but not stuffed.

We've been three times now, in the last four weeks, each time on a Sunday at lunchtime. It is full, not a single tourist except us (this is Winter), just local families who clearly go there a lot. The restaurant stands out into the sand, with the waves turning right in front of you. Just beautiful. The food is all fish. Good quality. Plentiful. Sicilian. Having been in Sicily for two months now, I am increasingly surprised how all restaurants serve more or less the same thing - there must be a big opportunity for someone to do something different! - and this lovely restaurant follows the same lines. But the quality of the food, atmosphere, welcome, and setting make this a particularly nice place to come. There's a good antipasto for one, or two, with a whole bunch of different fishy things to try on it. Good value. And not all fried, which is good. The tuna with melting onions was amazing, but only available I think as part of the antipasto (I could eat a whole plate of it). The fish ravioli in a rich creamy sauce (with marsala in it perhaps, not sure?) was gorgeous. The seafood risotto makes you smile as it's delivered. Wine is a reasonable price. And the people watching brilliant for visitors. As an almost vegetarian, I would have loved a few more vegetable based dishes, but that is the same across Sicily in Winter. We're going back again before we leave

Had a wonderful dinner here. Best restaurant so far in my 2 week trip around Sicily. The pork shank and Slovakian gulas were excellent. The waitress was a character and so charming. The mushroom pasta with pork cheek (with less salt) was yummy. The almond parfait was really good. Compliments to the chef.

La Terrazza dell'Orologio is located in Ragusa in Via Chiasso Arestia 12/13 a few steps from the Duomo. The structure dating back to the '700 is thought to be one of the deposits of the ancient castle of Ibla. Typical Sicilian cuisine embraces the traditi
Itâs our first visit to Ragusa and I found this restaurant on TripAdvisor so decided to book - it was certainly a great decision! We received a very warm welcome and service throughout the meal was excellent - everyone was so friendly. The restaurant has a rooftop terrace and the view over Ragusa at sunset and lit up during the evening was fantastic - what a setting for dinner! If the weather is not so good, there are plenty of tables inside. There is a really good choice of food on the menu for each course no matter what you prefer - meat, fish, pasta and also an extensive pizza menu. We started with Ragusana cheese with cherry conserve and local honey to share - this was two large slices of grilled cheese on a bed of leaves and it is probably the best cheese dish I have ever eaten - just gorgeous! We both then had taglioni pasta with butter and crumbled sausage - excellent flavour and well cooked. My husband had a second course as well - the mixed grill - which he really enjoyed. I had a cannolo for dessert with a lovely zibbibo dessert wine.It was a perfect evening - first-class food, great service and a fabulous setting. I would highly recommend and will certainly return if I am in Ragusa again.

The food is very good, marvellous pizzas to take away as well, but the restaurant must seat nearly 300 people and lacks atmosphere as a result. Must be great when full though. Very reasonable prices.

We wait from July 8 to Cafeteria Biancomangiare in Ragusa Sweet & Salty in lovely scenery such as Baroque Visit us
Four of ate lunch here al fresco. Service was adequate, and the menu had many options. Prices were good, especially since the restaurant is so close to the Duomo. We shared lasagna, caprese salad, and a huge antipasto platter of cheeses, salamis, and little vegetable pies. Beers and Proseccos. Had a hard time getting the check.

On the recommendation of a server at another restaurant, we tried Giro di Vite. It is in the superiore so less overwhelmed by crowds than the Ibla. The courtyard is charming and the staff attentive. In fact, the whole building is remarkable and worth a look, the bar, the interior dining rooms, etc. I cannot give it a thorough review as we only had a light pizza supper, but the server knew his wine and helped us select a Nero dâavola we enjoyed. One of our pizzas featured pumpkin sauce......donât wince until you try it.There is no wood oven but as the server promised the pizza was very good and the crust was perfect. Oh, yes, this is only steps from the cathedral.

Itâs strange after reading a few good reviews about this seafood place that the the pasta should have been prepared well. It is in our opinion undercooked both tube pasta and spaghetti , they say that itâs aldante. Not so. The seafood is great so is the service. The wine is good. I feel saddened writing this review that itâs not worth returning. I honestly feel the the pasta is not cooked to perfection perhaps my palate for international cuisine may have impeded my taste bud to unravel the Sicilian mystery at dioniso fish restaurant. gentiissima , ma per la pasta al dente lei fa una recensione a due pallini?e se il pesce faceva schifo , il vino e il servizio idem che faceva ?ci faceva retrocedere nei bassi fondi siciliani ?la pasta che trattiamo e' una pasta artigianale locale fatta da grani antichi e rimane al dente , di conseguenza digeribilissima e gustosa, la pasta scotta la lasciamo fare alle case di cura .distinti saluti

We offer a traditional, genuine cuisine, with local and italian dishes. Only home-made pasta of ancient sicilian wheats and zero mile ingredients.
This is a small seafood restaurant right in front of a beautiful Catholic Church. The food was good, but not great. However the location and the view was well worth the experience. The service was a little slow, but passable if you are not in a hurry. I had pasta with seafood that was tasty but a touch over cooked. The shrimp were cooked to mush and the pasta was a little overdone. For a second course I had the Italian sausage. The sausage was well prepared and very tasty.
