We visited for dinner and were pretty much ignored, eventually had to ask for drinks and menus, waitress seemed genuinely surprised ! The place was empty so no excuse they were busy, food awful, my pasta was tough and dry and the sauce was inedible, the rest of the family had lasagne , i have had better microwave meals. Don't bother

Long day in Syrcause and quick refresh took us 50 yards from our apartment to an old haunt from our 2002 break. Friendly welcome and highchair readily provided for our 2.5YO son. He loved his margherita pizza, and ate 6 out of 8 bits after a 15-hour day. Mum and dad can testify that this was thin, crispy and combined the main flavours well. This also extended to the arrabiata pasta, fillet steak and mixed salad sampled. Along with the house red, this venue serves really good food at competitive prices.Good environment for families with young children and lone travellers too. Owner was very charismatic and engaging, and had not really changed in 16 years. We enjoyed a good laugh as I listened to him talking about the intervening years, and his conversion from white to navy blue clothes.Joking apart, great value at 39.5 euros for 3 mains, a salad, water, wine, beer and a limoncello. Would strongly recommend to all TA users - a prossima volta!

We enjoyed every minute of our experience here. It is an inviting and romantic restaurant. We were walking by around 7:00 pm and they weren't officially open for dinner yet but we saw somebody inside. Charmed by the appearance of this cozy restaurant, we popped are head in to inquire about when they did open as we may come back. I believe they said an hour (my Italian is bad) and we must have looked disappointed (we're Americans and used to eating at 6:00 pm). So, the gentleman waves us in, sits us down, turns on all the lights and hands us menus. Wow....thanks! We had shared seafood antipasti, two pastas (one seafood and one bolognese) and two beef fillets. The food was AMAZING! Truly, our best meal in Sicily. And, the service was great too. We had the restaurant to ourselves for most of the meal (probably because they weren't open yet). As we were finished, he brought us two shots of liquer and a very reasonable bill. We only wish we'd found this place earlier so we could've skipped a couple bad meals up the street.Highly recommend!

Fantastic beach club with private beach, salt water pool, snack bar, restaurant and gardens. Really well equipped and immaculately kept. Really friendly staff and a stunning location. We had a free transfer and access from our hotel - the Hotel Villa paradiso.

Loved sitting by the sea to eat our dinner. Staff very friendly and attentive. I must say the Ravioli with Pistachio di Bronte was the best ravioli I have ever had. I also had the Caprese salad but it was a little bland. My husband had the calamari and it was very good. It was very relaxing sitting by the sea enjoying our dinner.

Really, really good restaurant. Found us a table even though very busy. Just the best fish, pasta, good wine list. The staff were all so friendly and very efficient, we went back a few times and were treated like family. Thank you

As previous reviews have said, the place doesn't look much from the outside, but don't be put off by that. I had Spatola with crunchy vegetable curry. Its a local fish, a very tasty dish, not really a curry, but crunchy vegetables lightly flavoured with curry powder. Looked and tasted amazing. Well priced, nice view over to Taormina if eating outside. Take cash, cards not accepted.

We wandered in and were warmly welcomed with complimentary bruschetta and olives. We enjoyed a swordfish carpaccio and a perfectly prepared risotto with shrimp, asparagus and almonds. My entree was the catch of the day, rolled with spinach and pine nuts- fantastic. While my partner did not love his beef entree, we both felt this was by far the best meal we had while staying in Mazzeo. Service was friendly and prompt, and staff were attentive throughout the meal, replacing silverware and refilling wine as needed. Gola is a true standout on this long stretch of beach and we highly recommend for great seafood and service alike.

We visited Siculishh on the back of good TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The menu was inventive and complimented by an excellent wine list. The owners and staff were welcoming and attentive. Our food was excellent with subtle flavours complimented by local Sicilian ingredients. An absolute must if you are in Taormina.
