Extremely satisfied with my experience here. This is truly luxurious restaurant. Their service was outstanding, seafood has nothing to complain and the decoration is nice. The fish restaurant Bianchi is a joint-venture of the families Bianchi and Bindella. In an inviting and comfortable ambience on the Zurich Limmatquai, fresh fish are served. An elegant restaurant dedicated to the pleasure of enjoying and meeting at the ta
This restaurant would best be described as Italian centric seafood restaurant. There is even a seafood display case where you can opt to select the fish for your meal. The staff at Bianchi were very professional. All the staff seemed to be from Italy, but all were multilingual. We began with the mixed seafood starter. The clams, mussels, shrimp, baby squid, octopus and fish were so fresh and very good. My seared tuna entree on a saffron cream sauce was excellent. As good as that dish was, my wifeâs pan seared Branzino (sea bass) was even better and the sauce was divine. We also really liked the accompanying black rice. Bianchi is relatively expensive, but with their quality and service, the restaurant provides good value.Dear kstraveler81,Thank you for the wonderful and comprehensive review of Bianchi. Your description is pretty accurate. We are very pleased you enjoyed your meal. (And great choices you made, by the way.) Our chefs put a lot of creative effort into providing a quality eating experience for our guests, using only the freshest products available.Thank you for the five-star rating. Paulo Alexandre and his team are passionate about providing excellent customer service and hope you and your wife will be back when you are next in Zurich.la vita è bella - Adrian & Bianchi-Team

I was here for a business convention. The appetizers were a buffet style with an array of calamari (pretty good), sausages (way too salty), French fries (too yellow than normal), Rossi sticks and supposedly minestrone soup which in fact is just vegetables with a watered-down tomato taste. The lobster pasta I ordered came and I was horrified to see the state in which it was served. Itâs not lobster. Just a third from a halved crayfish with 2 miserable prawns. The table wine is way too light and has an acidic after taste. The total experience is horrible. Itâs such a disappointment.

We had dinner on a Saturday evening. The pros:Small restaurant, Fast service,Nice shrimps tempura,Tuna pieces were OK despite too much sauce (thereâs even a bit of mayonnaise!!),The cons:Meals too fatty, oily. They all lack the balance and the finesse of real Japanese food.We tried the vegetables tempura. They were more like a pile of vegetables bits aggregated into fried balls. Very heavy and absolutely not comparable to any real vegetables tempura you will ever eat in Japan. The pig pieces were too fat.The yuzu cocktails have no interest. In summary, donât expect to find here any classic Japanese food. The meals are too heavy and are more appropriate for a winter meal than for a summer dinner.
