This branch of a well-known Chicago and East Coast fish and chicken restaurant opened in Lakewood in June 2018. My family didnât realize it was the chain on the East Coast, we thought it was a brand new mom and pop fried fish and chicken place. We were so blown away by the amazing food on the menu! This particular branch is smaller than the restaurants on the East Coast in Chicago, has a smaller menu at this point, but Iâm sure over time it will expand like the other restaurants have. We tried the catfish platter and the combo plate. Delish!! More fries than you could ever eat by yourself Next time, weâre going to try the gumbo

We visited July 25. Our server Brittany S was outstanding. She was professional, attentive, helpful and ensured our evening turned out great. We have visited here several times over the past several years. The food has always been very good to excellent. Service has been very variable throughout this time, ranging from just barely average to outstanding. This visit was outstanding. Hopefully this service is a trend for future visits. We ate in the newer bar area which has a great atmosphere. This evening it was lively but easy talking level. Tables are spaced far enough part for both comfort and ease of private party discussions. Overall very welcoming and comforting for dinner. We ordered both from the crab specials and the menu. The King Crab legs were phenomenal. In fact this serving was the best we have had, better than our visits to Bob Chinn's. The legs were perfect eating temperature, still moist and had a great flavor negating the need for any butter. Whatever the Chef's do to prepare these, it is done great. We also added Mussels from the appetizer menu (which is entry level portions). The mussels were delivered all open and with equally tantalizing flavor. I recommend this for the consistently good food over several visits. I would come here with patience as the service as stated can be variable.

A family owned and operated steakhouse with a warm, comfortable setting close to home, Stevens aims to please. From our wide selection of finely aged steaks and chops to the freshest seafood, extensive wine and martini lists and a staff ready to serve you
We just found Stevens which saves traveling several miles for when we want fine dining.Their shrimp cocktail with hot sauce is perfect. And, our Filet Mignon with a choice of three toppings was perfect. The deserts are homemade with the Apple Crisp with ice cream being outstanding. The service was attentive with excellent coordination between the servers which insured we did not have to ask for anything. The manager might want to practice smiling as his staff does.Enjoy.Hello Martin. Thank you for dining with us and providing us with some feedback. We appreciate you coming out and we're so glad you enjoyed the Food and Service. And I will personally try to smile more. Thanks again Martin. See you again soon.Brad Lehner G.M.

Food was cold, shrimp smelled fishy. It was 45 minutes before closing, the staff was clean quickly. All the food was cooling in containers on counter. The put cold food in to go box never warmed up and gave it to us. Corn bread was dry. Coleslaw look water down and old.
