You can not beat the view from Il Mare overlooking the bay in Zihuatanejo. Crazy sunset looking up from the cliffs above and beyond downtown. Quaint and intimate almost all seats have an amazing view. We loved the Greek salad, the grilled calamari and the pasta Bolognese. So many other choices too. The boys enjoyed the frozen Lemon sorbet and the frozen lemon pie.

Have been to Coco Bahia now twice and will continue to come back. Love sitting and having some appetizers and a margarita overlooking the Zihuatanejo bay. The Sashimi al negro, or blackened tuna is delicious! Itâs raw but with a mild crust on the edges. Thereâs no need to dip in the soy sauce because it perfectly seasoned and not spicy at all. Sometimes I order two itâs that good!! The margaritas are strong and not too sweet and the beer is cold and served in a beer koozie!! Nice touch guys. On both occasions Jesus was our waiter and he is as friendly as they come. He does speak English but we enjoy practicing our Spanish with him. He was attentive and the service was prompt. If ours in Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo this is a must visit. Most people go to the popular spots along Playa La Ropa or Madera, but this is a little off the beaten path, in a different neighborhood with a different perspective of the bay. Two thumbs up for sure!!!

The food, service and atmosphere at Coconuts in Zihuatanejo was simply perfection.The beautiful courtyard welcomed us into the warm and inviting garden like atmosphere. Our servers were wonderful and very friendly... Clearly well trained for first class service and attention... Best of all was the amazing food. The tuna sashimi was presented and rivaled any I have had in Tokyo and the Hearts of Palm marinated salad simply melted with flavor... The Shrimp scampi and the Shrimp Chile Relleno was gourmet and both were flavor explosions.... Loved it.... To close out our meal was the carmel crepes which ere made at the table. Simply perfection in every way....

We enjoyed the facilities there. There was a group of 9 there and the service was excellent. Our only complaint was the seafood platter. Except for the platter, the day could not have been better. We had arranged a water taxi from La Ropa round trip for our group for 500 pesos. The taxi was there exactly at 3 pm as we had asked. The whole day was a fun day because most were returning home 2 days later..

We had heard great things about Casa Bahia at our resort so we went there to celebrate my birthday. It was an excellent choice. Perfect view at our table on the upper patio and lovely service. Four out of the six of us had fish and all agreed it was the best we have had on our trip. The young chef, Ricardo?, greeted us afterwards which is a nice touch. We will be back next year.

Beautiful hotel and grand view restaurant area. The breakfast options were sumptuous and delicious. We really enjoyed the fruit plate with honey and yogurt as well as the hue vos rancheros and the machaca type eggs. Lovely service and amazing view. Berch is an incredible buyer and curator.

Nice atmosphere al fresco and the staff was so friendly and efficient but other than our amplele Mixed Salad at a resonable price we were very disappointed in our meals. My coconut shrimp had a thick, floury coating which obliterated the taste of the shrimp and had little or no coconut flavor. They were square chunks and the mango sauce not at all distinctive or flavorful. Very disappoining. The rice that was served with the shrimp was cold. My fiance had fettucine alfredo with ham and the ham was like deli ham rolled up and served alonside of the pasta. The sauce was only fair. Sadly, we will not return although maybe we made the wrong choices on the menu.

Eat here! Itâs a little further out of town than a lot of the popular restaurants but absolutely worth the extra 5 minute walk. We had the coconut shrimp and chili rellenos at Letyâs suggestion and both were amazing. I agree with everyone that this is the best coconut shrimp ever! We also enjoyed great service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Canât wait to go back! Will be great to see again, thank you so much for your recommendations!!!!

You see them making fresh tortillas at the entrance and that tips you off to what's inside. We went two days in a row and tried four different dishes to really get a good feel for their menu. Carmelitta's daughter waited on us and explained all the dishes to us. Great breakfasts.

We have been to Zihuatanejo several times and we have eaten in this wonderful restaurant every time we have visited. We were not disappointed this trip either. From the wonderful food, to the delicious cocktails, to the inpeccable service, not to mention the spectacular view; this restaurant never fails to outdo itself. Salvador.........our most favorite person at Tentaciones, has been working there since we started dining here, which was several years ago. He is so very gracious and acted as if he remembered us (can't imagine how with all the people he sees, but he did a great job of making us feel special) and gave us our favorite cocktail complimentary. The menu is prix fixe, 5 courses, each course more delicious than the previous one. I encourage anyone visiting Zihuatanejo to make this the highlight of your vacation. You will not regret it.
