Ocean Bay Resto and Sea Grill #food with a mission
The food selections are ok. They specialize more on shrimps and curacha. The serving is good for sharing. Average of 1,500 pesos for a group of 4. They are promoting that they use Salad Master cookware which it claims they prepare the food healthier. Overall dining experience is ok and value for money.
Just arrived via Ferry and asked for a nearby restaurant. Pointed toward general direction and found STK. Not a busy restaurant with a couple of foreign/tourist inside. I normally look for restaurants thatâs filled with local folks. Front area not well lighted with several hazardous holes, uneven terrain and wires strung out. Lots of bike riders sitting in front smoking.Staff not very attentive and looked pretty tired even though it was an early evening. Ordered Lapu Lapu deep fried and Prawns with Tamarind soup. Lapu Lapu is a fantastic tasting fish. Looked nice with a lot of red garlic sauce camouflaging the fish. First bite, pretty dry and rubbery. I'm an avid s fishermen so I know when a fish is fresh. Opened up the other areas to find a portion that wasnât dried out with no luck. I made the big mistake by not asking to look at the fish before preparation. We informed the waitress that it wasn't not acceptable. Not much of a reaction as she removed from table. The Prawn Sinagang soup was wonderfully prepared with assortment of large prawns and fresh vegetables. Midway through our meal a new couple came in and I recommended they look at fish before ordering. Waitress brought a few samples of fish. They ordered grilled chicken and pork instead. Their comment was the food was excellent. We order a few drinks that came in warm with no ice. It was served in opened containers so canât say no. We were still billed for the fish, head staffer stated that we had sampled too much of it to be served to another customer. (That gave me a good laugh) Paid for the bill and for one of the very few times I was very disappointed with a restaurant in the PH. I donât normally leave negative feedback but this was well deserved.

we were in for a delightful dinner treat in this restaurant by our gracious hosts and we absolutely loved every dish served. you could sense the passion and patience the kitchen staff provided to give us the almost perfect dining experience. since it was near the bay and the room was not airconditioned, the temperature was humid which made us felt sweaty while enjoying our food.since we went there at night, we were not able to see the grandeur of the whole place. i hope we could get to visit again and have a tour.
Where to Eat in Zamboanga City: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This is a very famous seafood restaurant in Zamboanga and is a must place to eat in when you visit but I was really disappointed with the service since our orders were served more than the 30-45 minutes after placing the order which I think is really a long time to wait for orders to be served at the price they charge for famous dishes like curacha and crabs. The restaurant decor and ambience were very nice and colorful but the staff was mixed between regular staff and interns whcih was not good since there more interns who are not really helpful and cannot even take orders which is only allowed to regular staff. Our first order was delivered after 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes when we were told it will take 45 mins and additional orders we made after the first order were delivered another hour later so we had to stay for 3 hours in the restaurant to fianlly receive all orders whcih is really bad service despite the delicious seafood I am really not recommending the restaurant due to the bad combination of really high prices( 3 curacha for 1500php and bad late service.
