We keep coming back. The food keeps on impressing and the service keeps on delivering.Great atmosphere. Incredible selection of food. Go for fresh fish, oysters and shellfish. Excellent wine selection.Chilli Prawns are delicious. Oysters always spot on. Lots of fish served lots of ways.We will keep coming back. Oh - consider ordering one main fish plate between two as the portions are huge.

Top of the Bay used to be a Williamstown highlight. Centrally located at Nelson Place with views over Port Phillip and the CBD it is the ideal location to enjoy fish and chips. Unfortunately since changing ownership the quality has gone downhill and the price increased. Fish is now greasy and the chips are not crunchy and now the calamari are pulled from a deep freeze rather than produced fresh. Previously it was expensive but the quality was worth it. We ordered takeaway two hours before for a large family group only to find that our order had not been made. This was actually worse as I then had to watch how they now butcher the fish. Shame to see this happen to what used to be a great shop.

Had a lovely lunch on a grey Melbourne day. Could not fault the food, we had the fish of the day (hapuka, skin on), fillet steak and the pasta of the day. We all thoroughly enjoyed our choices, great food (without the pretentiousness - see next comment) Went to Coda last night and were totally disappointed. Have to mention the wait staff Pak and the Greek guy! Sorry didn't get his name...But they were great too. What's not to like? The views are brilliant, the staff is friendly, attentive and efficient and the food is delicious. (Serve size is generous as well). I had the King George whiting and chips....fabulous. Batter was light, crispy and the flavour of the fish was not drowned out. The chips themselve were brilliant. All at the table were impressed with their meals.

Went here for lunch, and was delighted with the lunch specials, really good value, and the food was great. You canât beat the views, and the wine was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back
