Three couples celebrating a special birthday and all 6 agreed that it was a perfect evening. The oysters were terrific, mussels were plentiful and great, calamari great. Delicious Seafood fettucini with shrimp and scallops were a hit along with the Caesar Salad. Two types of fish were ordered, Sea Breem and Sea Bass and they were de-boned by a waiter at the table. Kudos to the Creme Brûlée. Topping it off with great service from our waitress made the evening perfect. I am looking forward to visiting one of their other locations. Mike D.

We had heard that this was the best place for fish and chips in town. I ordered the halibut and French fries to go. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous as well as knowledgeable. The chips and halibut were delicious. After two generations they must have timing down to the second. Very tasty and cooked to perfection. I will be back.

We went to the Fishbone Bistro for a birthday celebration. For a Tuesday night, the restaurant was decently filled.Service was friendly and efficient. We started with the shrimp and salad...both delicious and decent portion size. For our entrees we had the artic char and halibut. I would say the artic char was better than the halibut but both were good. The only disappointment was the chocolate mousse for dessert...more like a pudding.Definitely a place we will return to again. They have a small patio at the front but it doesn’t appeal to us as it faces Stouffville Rd which is busy with traffic and dusty.

Captain George Fish & Chips

This place is disgusting! Since ownership changed, nothing is homemade, everything out of a freezer. We paid $40 for food we could have made at home for $10! Awful. Chips aren’t even home cut or homemade anymore. Gravy used the be the best out there... now it’s watery and from a package. Go anywhere else in town. Had high hopes because it used to have the same owners as the original in Port Perry. Now the people answering the phone can barely understand English. Pass and try somewhere else. I’m appalled:
