I like the batter for the fried seafood in this place. Very thin batter with the right seasoning for me for the fish and chips. We got three pieces of fish of the fish and chip. Seasoning of the batter is good and the fish seem fresh because they don't have the fish smell like some restaurant. *Cough* 99.However, we also got the fried clam. The size of the fried clam is bit small. But should be good for a snack size. The price of the seafood is bit on the expensive side. However, it is in range compared to seafood in this area.

We are a full service family restaurant that provides home cooked meals at an affordable price. We offer a full bar. We have a great kids menu. All items on our menu are available for takeout.
I like mudslides and the ones here have chocolate swirled around inside the glass with whipped cream on top. And I always ask for extra cherries on top. Usually there is some extra in a small glass for Margie too. Generally all good food with some uncommon specialties like Pea Soup on Wednesdays.

My wife and I ate at Sagres Portuguese Restaurant with another couple. The restaurant decor is upscale and atmosphere quiet enough to have a conversation during dinner. We ordered four entrees to share: paella (excellent), shrimp Mozambique (spicy and delicious), monkfish and shrimp (very good), veal marsala (outstanding). The portions are so large, that we took away two boxes of leftovers for future lunches. Our server was friendly and attentive.

If you are going for lobster, call ahead to be sure they have some. I was disappointed the first time we went because I was craving lobster. Next time, still no lobster, but I was ready for that. Good food, good portions.

Marguerite's is a small, cozy restaurant serving the Westport community since 1989. Located in Westport Village Commons on Main Rd.
Marguerite's is one of our go-to breakfast spots when out in the Westport area. As it says on their website, it is a cute and cozy place to dine. Our favorites are their blueberry pancakes (I get them every time) and their special cranberry pancakes. The service is great and the coffee is good too. Enjoy!

Been going to White's for years. I would have complained today but we took my mother in law out so I didn't say anything. First, its Saturday and usually there is warm bread, dark and light slices with a dipping oil. Today we got cold rolls. I mean COLD out of the fridge. No dipping oil.My turkey dinner was not what it used to be. Small portion for the money... and the turkey was tough, there were pieces of cartilage attached to the white meat....and the stuffing was dry, it seemed old. I've always had a good fresh huge turkey dinner here so this surprised me. I hope this is just a one time thing so I'll be kind rating it. Rita would not like hearing this.Hi Janet! Thank you for sharing your comments, and for being such a loyal customer! I would like to apologize that you did not enjoy your most recent experience with us at the Galley Grille. I'm not sure what time you and your mother-in-law joined us on Saturday, but we typically only offer the bread with dipping oil for dinner service. I assure that if you had asked your had asked your server for oil, she would have been happy to provide you with some! We are saddened to hear about your turkey dinner as this is one of our top menu items! Since seeing your comments we have spoken to the kitchen staff about the importance of consistency to ensure each guest has a wonderful meal every visit. I hope you will give us another chance sometime soon and allow us to make it up to you!

We went here for a celebratory dinner on a Saturday evening in October. After reading other reviews I realized that perhaps when we went made a difference in our experience. We didnât go during the height of summer when my guess it would be MUCH busier and louder. We had a reservation and were seated at a wonderful window seat overlooking the harbor and also sunset. We very much enjoyed the mussels we had as an appetizer and then also had tuna and lobster with pasta. All servings were more than adequate and were very tasty! Our dining experience lasted 2 hours, which we were fine with and the service was attentive as well. Small menu, but what they do, they do well.

Stopped here with my family on the way to Gooseberry Beach for lunch. Luckily it was just before there was a large waiting line. We had to wait until noon to order as lunch didn't start until noon. Most of us got the lobster roll. I like a hot lobster roll and this was cold with hot butter on the side. The lobster was good, but not the best that I have had. The french fried were very greasy. Two eaters got the shrimp and said it was very good. Prices were high for lunch, but this is summer in an affluent area.
