Seeking for THE ultimate Cajun fusion in the OC? The Wild Crab in Garden Grove is IT! Our mission is to provide the complete quality package of a dining experience from venue to ingredients. Our spacious venue promises the comfort of getting down and dirt
Living in SoCal we have plenty of choices for food. I truly think we have more variety and diversity than NY or Chicago, since our metropolitan area is more spread out and diverse, not clustered in small boroughs. The Little Saigon area in Orange County has the largest Vietnamese population outside Saigon, and plenty of Crab places are popping up from Claws, Hot n Juicy, Kicking Crab, Wild Crab, and of course the most popular, Boiling Crab. The last time I was here was back in February, and my coworkers wanted to come back for the happy hour. The beer is cheap, and they give you a doughnut with ice cream for dessert, but quite honestly its still not Boiling Crab. We had a party of 7 adults, and we ordered 2 of the number 2 combos, sweet potato fries, calamari, and added 2 extra pound of shrimp, making it a total of 4 pounds of crawfish and 4 pounds of shrimp. We should have made it 2 pounds of crawfish, because they were so disappointingly small. I've had small crawfish before, but this is ridiculously small, that after the food was devoured, I was still hungry! The shrimp had more meat but I questioned the freshness. Many shrimps I had didn't peel very easy, and the heads were not firmly attached to the body. Still, there's no line (hmm, maybe there's a reason why?) and we got the free doughnut ice cream dessert. The service was decent, they came to top off our drinks regularly, and check up on us. I wish they were able to clear the table of the baskets and empty bags of food, but I guess being so messy, its easier to wait til the end and dump everything.I do like that they have external sinks in the restroom area with plenty of soap. They try to remain "green" by having 2 hand dryers but if you pop inside the family bathroom, you can get paper towels there... hmm, that doesn't sound green there.Overall, a decent meal. Its not the Boiling Crab, but if you want your viet/cajun fix, its a decent place. I'd give it a 3.5 stars but since yelp doesn't do 1/2 stars, its 4 from me.Our bill came to $146 before tip, and that included happy hour bottled beersWe're glad you had a chance to stop by and leave us this review -- even if it was a couple years ago! Hope you'll be back again soon for some great food and tasty Cajun food. Come back soon!Take care, Dennis N., Manager

Off the Hook offers social dining focused on a vibrant, chef-driven menu, high-quality ingredients, and a relaxed ambiance that encourages sharing and bringing people together through food & cocktails.
My parents and sister took my friends and I to dinner at this restaurant. What a wonderful experience with excellent service and food. The portions were ample and filling. We started with the friend calamari which was splendid and crispy. My meal opened with a salad, and then I had the salmon with grilled vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. Excellent is an understatement. The rest of our party had a plethora of items that all looked delicious. The next time Iâm in Long Beach Iâll be eating here again. I just loved it! Next time Iâll be bringing the wife and sons.

This is our go go-to spot for Chinese seafood in OC. We typically order lobster with special sauce and other dishes. The past 3 trips have been just ok, borderline mediocre. I would definitely check out another spot as 3 strikes already. Service is typical of Chinese restaurant which is, don't expect any :-).

We, a friends group of nine, had gone for a Dim Sum lunch at Seafood Paradise in Westminster, California. The restaurant is located in a strip mall which has a big parking lot. The large number of people waiting outside the restaurant was testimony to the popularity of this eatery. Luckily, we had made prior table reservation and hence, did not have to wait more than a few minutes. Once we were seated around a round table, the food laden trolleys kept rolling in carrying a variety of dim sums, beverages and desserts. You just ask for whatever catches your fancy from the food trolley and the same is put on the table and noted on a printed menu sheet kept on the table. Among the variety of food that we sampled, we had Shrimp Siu Mai, Pork Siu Mai, Fried Crispy Squid, Boiled Snow Peas Shoots, Shrimp Seaweed Rolls, Fried Soft Shell Crab, Sweet Tofu Dessert and Egg Custard (Dan Tart). For beverages we ordered for beer, iced tea and iced coffee. The service was swift and friendly. We literally gorged on dim sums.

Stations unmanned & only one server in entire restaurant. Wait for drinks. Wait and hit ringer for desserts. Wait and hit buzzer for Brazilian meats. Wait and hit buzzer for Mongolian bbq. Wait for refills. Wait for check-in. Wait. Wait. WaitUnmanned Brazilian Meats had cold meat waiting. Many customers line up for service at various stations and wait & wait & and eventually leave, out of frustration. While some of the food items were OK, many were not.Believe Todai Japanese Buffet used to be located here. Restaurant located inside Westminster Mall with both outside and inside entrances. Weekday Lunch is $15.99, plus tax. Beverages are extra. Tap water free. No plans on returning.

I have been eating at Seafood Cove the one on Westminster Blvd. and Newland St. for the past 25 years. The food as been great and the price is reasonable, especially lunch prices is almost half the price of dinner menu. The owner has been great and a very nice guy. He has owned that restaurant business over 27 years now.

We got there on Friday night by 6pm and were seated in 15 minutes. Young waiters and waitresses were very attentive and helped us order some classic seafood dishes I was longing for. We ordered a couple of tapa size appetizers, Razor Clams, my all time favorite; sea snails with garlic and butter, well baked and so tasty; Seafood salad with octopus and interesting vegetables, a bit spicy; scallop sashimi with red sauce, very fresh; pineapple seafood fried rice in a half pineapple, quite filling; pineapple smoothie in the whole fruit for pineapple lover. We finished our meal with complimentary taro dessert. Even without any alcohol, it was still a great seafood dinner full of flavors and joyful surprises.

Was looking for spot for birthday celebration, was a definite disappointment. Halibut said to be fresh and recommended by staff, may have been fresh but overcooked badly to become a $35 puck instead. Beef filet was tiny for high price, and overcooked as well. Sand dabs, also said to be popular looked vaguely like fish sticks. The clam linguini was OK, though clams overcooked and not very flavorful. Prices also very high - for the money should have been top notch.

We recently discovered this chain of seafood restaurants and quickly became fans of the delicious seafood they serve here. The freshness is unrivaled by other seafood restaurants. This is casual dining, not dressy but it's the freshness that draws huge crowds and people willing to wait in line to be seated. THIS is the original location that they opened and started from. The oysters here are my personal favorite! Unbelievably juicy and so fresh. Excellent king crab too. Everything on the menu is deeeelicious! The entire staff here goes above and beyond to make your visit and dining experience excellent.
