We visited this venue to watch the All Blacks. No need to book this night as surprisingly quiet.Mulit big screens available and a nice outdoor area.Nice staff, the let down is the food, very limited menu, and for the basic style of food it is a tad expensive also.

We went here today as a group of 12 adults and 12 kids. We ordered drinks and easy food..portions were WAY too small hence overpriced! Seemed overwhelmed by customers. ( we ordered in small family groups)large portion of chips was same price as cheesy chips- WOW!! massive difference in size- because we get cheese sauce (!!) Mussels was on special @$15. 8 lge mussels in sauce... no bread, nothing. Sorry- v disappointed, wont return. We had to go and get food in the city after ferry back to the city :-(

If you want to do the traditional fish and chips on the beach ..this is a great place. It closes at 8pm so need to get there earlier than later. Fish was beer battered and excellent and hamburgers good too. People may say it's expensive but you get what you pay for with fish and chips in NZ. If you want a nasty piece of batter and a small slither of fish you will pay $3 or $4 dollars elsewhere. But this was real fish ..so the range from $6 to $8 isn't bad. Recommended

Beautiful day returning to island after easter away and treating ourselves to lazy lunch. Decided to give the award winning burger and dessert a try and were rewarded with a fantastic taste sensation. Service was exceptional and will definitely be on our return list to give other options on menu a try.

The crispy wontons and salad I ordered were delicious. The location is good too, by Palm Beach. The customer service was bizarre - the place was empty. When I walked in I went completely unacknowledged by the owner and her waitress chatting in front of me.... sitting down at a table near them also did nothing to prompt a greeting or a menu. Thoroughly bizarre and incompetent customer service. However - not actively rude, just thoughtless. Not important however if the food is good.

Taken my mum out to lunch, will definitely be back again. One of the best meals on the island. Would definitely be back sometime soon. The service from the staff is amazing and not to mention the quality of the food. Out of all of the restaurants on the island this would have to be my favourite.

Just 40 minutes from Auckland but a world away, The Oyster Inn is the perfect escape from Auckland, whether for just a night, a weekend or longer. The Inn features a large restaurant & bar, a beach boutique, a private event space three luxuriously simple
We had a celebratory brunch from the new brunch menu and everything was so delicious! I chose the Bloody Mary which was just the right amount of spicy and the poached eggs with avocado were perfectly cooked, my friend had the vegetarian eggs benedict and the asparagus and mushrooms were so fresh and tasty, great coffee too. Great views over Oneroa beach, Sunday papers, cozy wood fire and our server Eugenie was lovely - we will be back!
