Fienis has been around forever (1996? I think).. and we hadn’t gone in a long time..,Years. So many newer restaurants etc. but we went last Saturday night and realized why it’s still so popular. (It was packed btw.. even with reservation we waited 35 minutes, host apologized numerous times). Worth the wait. Just well prepared food, generous portions. One of the better Italian meals I’ve had in a long time. My suggestion... GO

If you want seafood that is as good as it gets this is your place! Lobster bisque soup was unreal. The broiled seafood platter with crab cake was cooked to perfection and the taste was like any waterfront seafood house. The Dungeness crabs were tasty and the meat was delicious. The ONLY draw back was the service. Our wait staff was less than what you would expect at any decent restaurant.

What a comfortable little place! And a friendly, warm staff. The menu is small, which for me is usually a good sign. I enjoyed a kale and butternut squash salad that was perfectly seasoned. My husband ordered the Sicilian style calamari. He was not that enthusiastic about it, but I thought it was delicious! Our entrees were prepared to perfection!! My husband ordered the steak and I the salmon. The deserts were homemade and also delicious. Will certainly return and definitely recommend.

Estia Greek Taverna

To celebrate an event, I took my wife to Estia. We'd heard good things about it, but we'd never eaten there. After we'd been served complimentary hummus and warm, crusty bread, we ordered the kefalograviera cheese saganaki, one of our favorite Greek dishes, for our appetizer. Served while still flaming, it was a great way to start our meal.My entree was the octopus, perfectly charcoal grilled and served over fava puree. My wife chose the lamb chops with fried potatoes and tzatziki. Dessert was ekmek, pistachios layered between phyllo, custard, and whipped cream. It was an excellent meal in an attractive dining room, with attentive, friendly service. The prices, however, were too high. If they were lower, we would return often, so we'll reserve it for special occasions.
