My first visit with friends to this superb new restaurant in Tilff. We received a very warm welcome from the personnel. Impeccably clean and the decor has a very light and cosy atmosphere. The service and food excellent in all aspects. Very refined menu and a 'no rush' attitude. There is a small garden patio at the back of the dining room which is agreeable to look at. Cannot fault this restaurant, my first visit but will definitely be back

We were disappointed at the rude reception, even though we speak fluent French and were told that we could only order 1 course, although other locals arriving at the same time were able to order the full 3 or 4 course meal. Dishes were only average, but service by the younger staff was more considerate, and in keeping of a restaurant with these pretensions.I would avoid this place. You can do better.Bonjour Madame, Monsieur,Je suis sincèrement désolé de cette mauvaise expérience à l'Ecailler.Puis-je connaître la date exacte de votre passage ?Merci !

our Belgian friend recommended this restaurant for our Saturday evening meal. It was a little odd on entry reminding me of a kebab or fast food restaurant. However when seated upstairs it felt very much more upmarket. A tasty amuse bouche was followed by excellent main courses. My wife failed to finish her paella as there was too much, our friend had the lamb which was excellent and I had a perfectly cooked Chateaubriand. All accompanied by a good bottle of red wine. Excellent service and a reasonable bill for the high quality of food. I'd return.

Had an exceptional x-mas party with the social club, 50 persons present. The four course menu with accompanying wines were outstanding. The culinary and service level the owners accomplished would put many star restaurants to shame. A definite must if you are a foodie. Enjoy.

Rien à redire ... niveau moyen ... prix assortis : Cuisine familiale goûteuse, accueil sympa, addition en rapport. Pas de déception pas de d'étonnement. Déjà pas mal ;-)
