Local favorite that is great for visitors as well. Great breakfast right on the water at the Rudee Inlet. Was recommended to us by some locals and overheard at least 2 other people telling other visitors to go there during our 5 day stay. Great lunch and
Great local seafood joint on the water. The the best decor, but the food and service was excellent. It is in an old small building, so they use the space well (cram you in), but the food is worth it! We went for lunch and have a Tuna Sandwich and Calamari, and both were very well done.Prices were reasonable, and we will be back on our next visit! I think it will be a new favorite at VB.

The food was well prepared (we share surf an d turf). The food was well prepared but the steak was skimpy. The lobster was ample. Sides were minimal, ample, but not much to choose from. I think this is a local price for reunions and and such. It was quiet but there were not many customers. Perhaps this restaurant is one's second choice? With so many restaurants nearby, Pier 31 needs to up their game. I did notice that in general, get ready to pay a lot for dinner regardless of restaurant - prices are going up.I enjoyed the dining experience but it was somewhat sad in a way. The company must make their money in Summer. No-one there in Fall. Still, i nearby, go for it!I am sorry to hear that your experience with us fell a little flat. I would love to hear more about the rest of your dining experience and get some feedback to share with our culinary team. A very casual beach style crab shack where the service is friendly and attentive. Southern charm with fresh and delicious seafood at a reasonable price. If you are in the Virginia Beach area and would like a quiet place to enjoy a good meal this is it. Not exactly close to the water, but nonetheless in a quiet stretch of road.

As always everything was perfect. We had the same waiter as we did on our last visit. He steered me away from what I wanted and recommended something else. I appreciate a waiter who is honest! I got the scallops and my wife got the blackened tuna. Both were perfect. We went at 5 when they opened and by 5:10 there were MANY full tables. If you are at the beach make it a point to eat here! Thanks for visiting and thanks for the review.

We've tried this establishment two years in a row on our business trip. It wasn't a standout in my opinion. The menu is pretty limited, especially for the sides and appetizers. We tried the Oyster Rockefeller and felt it tasted fishy. Some of our sides were served cold. The baked potato was cold and not cooked thoroughly. Our waiter was gracious enough to take it off the bill, which was not what we were looking for. The entrees were delicious and we enjoyed crab cakes, scallops and the filets. Our drinks were always full and the service was on spot. We will probably try another area restaurant for future visits.

I ate an excellent crab cake sandwich at this restaurant. The server was not too friendly or attentive. She never refilled my water. However, the crab cake was wonderful.

We went with our ladies' group for lunch at Becca. We ate in the sun-room which was very light and airy although mid-lunch it was very noisy with the high ceilings. Our service was very good and attentive for our group of 9--which can be a challenge at times, we know. Our meals were very good and we enjoyed our lunch out. One lady mentioned that her BLT had very crunch crust and therefor she could not finish it. My steak sandwich with fries was very tender and tasty. The salads looked fresh.Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a pleasant review! We are so pleased that you and your guests enjoyed your day out together. We will pass along your feedback to our team and hope to see you all back at Becca soon!Kind regards, Breanna Hoch

My wife was on a work trip, so I tagged along. On our last night in the area we wanted good seafood and a walk on the beach. Based on reviews, I picked Hot Tuna to eat - and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by Savannah, who put us in her favorite table by one of the fire pits. It was perfect. Then it got better. We were waited on by Bri. She was fun, cheerful, attentive and made us laugh. The food was excellent. We first had Mahi Tacos & Shrimp for appetizers.. Then we ordered the main course...Now, myy wife is VERY picky when it comes to seafood. She ordered the scallops and they were cooked perfectly, she loved the mushroom risotto as well. I had the Ahi tuna - again..perfectly done and they gave me a lot of wasabi. While we were eating, the drinks during happy hour helped my wife enjoy the outside after a long day at work. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.Wow, thank you so much for sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. We will be sure to pass along your comments to Savanah. Thank you patronage and we look forward to serving you again soon.

We came to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. The server was very pleasant. I liked the atmosphere. Canapes were great. We enjoyed the oysters, seafood platter, and brussel sprouts. It was very filling. The sweet potato biscuits and apricot butter were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Stopped in -- because -- well, it's a Veteran-owned brewery.Took the whole family over the a late, late lunch and drinks.-- and we're very glad we went. This place is HUGE -- bar & restaurant in the back, stage & a another bar in the back! Nice and clean bathrooms / head / latrine / little boys room...Food food we started with the grilled ahi bites as an appetizer. My wife loved them so much that she said the next time she's gonna order 2-3 and have just those for lunch! My beer-battered mahi tacos were excellent. Soo good.Waffle fries were good too.Wife had the crispy avocado tacos - and said it was "different". - wasn't bad, or good, and she's glad she tried it, but would get something different next time. Our kids had the Mac n' cheese - which our daughter was too tired to eat, but it was VERY good. The adult partook. My son had the cheeseburger with waffle fries which he thoroughly enjoyed.Beers are EXCELLENT!- I tried several varietals - and all were excellent.Would recommend: Highly!!Would re-patronize: Definitely!ps - not just for military or veterans, etc... all are welcome and all will enjoy good brews and good food.
