The COMMONS is part of the 10 Acres family with a brand new, distinctive dining environment. Blending a modern, comfortable aesthetic with industrial accents, the COMMONS was made for the community, a warm and welcoming place to meet. Our locally based me
First place we stopped and grabbed dinner at once off our cruise ship. The restaurant is super cute and trendy. We loved that it was all organic and tasted fresh. The superior oysters were one of our favorites. The halibut fish and chips were delicious and were large pieces of halibut. The bacon in the clam chowder was really good too. Itâs a great location near the water and surrounded by tons of shops.

Q at the Empress, located in the most storied room in Victoria, is a must-visit culinary experience. The Pacific Northwest cuisine is based on regional ingredients, partnerships with local farmers and artisans, and utilizes our own chefâs herb and vegetab
Went to Q late on 8/23/19. Ordered drinks and our server brought the most delicious coal popcorn. It was so delicious and we had never had anything like this. My husband has written to the Empress for the recipe. He wanted to buy some, but she told us it was exclusive to Q. We ordered a pizza for a late night snack. It was good. Had more drinks and our server refilled the popcorn bowl. She was a delight and when we were about to leave she had filled a to go box of popcorn to take with us. What a jewel she is. I do not remember her name, but she is from Korea and started work there is May. The Empress is lucky to have such a fine server.Thank you for the wonderful review! We are so delighted to hear that you enjoyed your dinner in Q Bar. We will certainly pass these comments onto our team. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back very soon. After about a year we returned to what was,and still is,in our opinion, the best restaurant in Victoria. The setting, inside the spacious room,or outside on the terrace,is most agreeable.Staff is well trained and pleasant to interact with. We tried the 3 course special and found it beautifully presented, delicious, and plenty in quantity as well.In short,we very much enjoyed our visit..

Nautical Nellies has been serving delicious premium aged angus steaks and Ocean Wise seafood to Victoria since 1997. Overlooking the inner harbour, the restaurant's heated patio and cozy interior set the tone to enjoy great food and wine from our award-wi
We were searching for a great restaurant to celebrate my birthday when we were recently visiting Victoria, BC. We chose Nautical Nellies which proved to be the best decision I've made lately. I knew that trying to walk in without reservations on a Saturday evening would be problematic, but given our packed schedule that day, we elected to just try it rather than make a reservation we might miss. Well, the place was packed, but the hostess allowed that we could sit at the bar if we wished. Now, I had previously read a couple of blistering reviews from folks who didn't like having to sit at the bar, but we elected to take the hostess up on her offer. In retrospect, sitting at the bar proved to be more than worth the price of admission. The bar staff was very friendly, very busy and most accommodating. Cameron, our bar tender and waiter was very much on top of things and we had the pleasure, from our vantage point, of watching the amazingly choreographed kitchen operation. They were working their butts off back there, and watching the resultant creative presentations come through the window from the kitchen was great fun.I ordered the 5oz New York steak with bourbon prawns, which was delicious. Our granddaughter ordered the Filet Mignon with a side of scallops, which she loved and is still talking about. My wife ordered the Lobster Roll which was also excellent. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate orb with hot caramel, which when poured over the orb, causes it to self destruct. It proved to be an amazing night out and probably the best restaurant meal I've had in a long time.

Three restaurants in one location; the more casual downstairs Grill, serving burgers seafood & pastas, the upstairs Oysterbar serving local seafood & steaks with a Mediterranean flare, and the next door Perro Negro, serving Spanish tapas.
2 different restaurants share same reclaimed brick brownstone space. We found doorway, climbed, entered light filled but intimate and aptly named âupstairsâ restaurant and bar. Offers 4 course tasting menu or wide array of menu items sure to please. Good list of craft cocktails. Hosted party of 6, noise level was fine easy to converse and everyone found entrees they liked. Presentation wasnât as artistic as Olo but quality was on par. Also easy walk from marina area. Recommended

Sounded so good and we went and had pork chops I left mostly all over and we had searedHalibut which was kinda okay. Service was terrible just so laid back and free style. The desert was 10 out of 10 thatâs where the 2 stars come in. I would say avoid this place. I think there are 3 with same kinda name so I can only speak for this Resturant

The founder of this restaurant is Indian and he took what he knew of that cuisine and mixed it with the local ingredients, primarily fish, to come up with new and inventive and flavorful food. My husband thought this might be the best place we have eaten in our whole trip to Vancouver and Vancouver Island. He had the daily catch, cod with rice and their masala. I had Pondicherry, wild salmon Kafka also with rice and Masala. The Fort St location is small and pretty simple. The wait staff were friendly and accommodating. An excellent meal
