While visiting Positano we thoroughly enjoyed a full day excursion with our driver and guide Stanislao Borrello. It was an amazing, beautiful day and we learned so much about the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. Our new friend, Lallo wanted to share with us a local restaurant that he and his family enjoy. As he pulled over, he pointed out that down below is where I would like to take you for a wonderful lunch. The restaurant was located right on the beach. We were introduced to the owner, Antonio who greeted us warmly with a big smile. We very much enjoyed a delicious lunch. To begin, we had the octopus salad, spaghetti with shrimp flavored with lemon and orange. And of course some nice wine. The spaghetti was AMAZING! There was nothing left on our plates. The service and atmosphere made it a perfect day!

This is by far one of the best restaurants we visited on the Amalfi Coast.Rooftop terrace overlooking Vesuvius, spotlessly clean restaurant in beautiful surroundings. This is a family run restaurant that stands out, the welcome you receive is overwhelming, such beautiful people.Alexandra is the chef and her cooking skills are wonderful, along with her Mamma they produce the most tasty cuisine ever, vegetables grown in their own garden. We had prawns, fish, pasta & fresh vegetables,Lemon cake & chocolate cake all made by the two ladies. Our server Margarita was such a beautiful lady and so attentive, she looked after us so well.We highly recommend this restaurant they make you feel such a valued customer.1st Class Restaurant, 1st Class Food, 1st Class Service.

Golden beach is a great place to have dinner by the beach! The hostess showed us all the fresh fish of the day and explained what ways each could be prepared. Everything was so fresh! The seafood pasta is amazing. They were very accommodating as we do not speak Italian. The staff was friendly and was there for anything we needed! Would recommend!

Characterized by a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, the Bikini restaurant is a place where you blend two unforgettable experiences, admiring and enjoying. The harmonious nature of the bay, embedded between the green mountains and blue sea, welcomes
In ten days touring Rome and Naples on a very flexible budget, this was the best restaurant that we experienced. The food was fantastic. We returned several times during our stay and could not get enough. The service was impeccable, friendly and not the least overbearing or excessively formal. The manager, Salvatore, was so friendly, knowledgeable and genuine, he really added to our experience. The views are incredible. The restaurant is situated directly over the beach onto Naples Bay, and has a clear view of Vesuvius in the distance. This was fine dining at its best. I look forward to my return to Il Bikini restaurant perhaps next summer. Thank you Salvatore!

The Blu Stone Restaurant is a gourmet restaurant overlooking a beautiful terrace on the Gulf of Naples. Here you can make a unique and unforgettable culinary experience.
We stayed in a nearby hotel for 2 weeks and ate here three times. You can expect to pay about 50 euros each for a meal with wine: but it is worth every cent. My wife, an excellent cook and confirmed vegetarian, is understandably hypercritical of many restaurants that do not meet her high standards. But she declared that the Blu Stone served the best vegetarian dishes she has ever tasted! I also eat fish and the chef here is a true artist: we ate different dishes on every occasion and were disappointed with none. The place hardly needs our recommendation as it is obviously celebrated along this coast as many local Italians who have money are regular customers. The setting in the evening - watching the sun set over the Bay of Naples - is very attractive. But it is that food that most attracts us.

We had a wonderful, super delicious Italian dinner! We ordered mussels au gratin and involtini of aubergine, tomatoes and mozzarella as starters. Then we had homemade (!) pasta with swordfish and aubergine and tagliata with tomatoes and parmesan cheese with a side salad as main course. For dessert we had milles feuilles with panna and cherries... omg! On top we had red house wine - totally ok - sparkling water and café and paid about 50⬠for two persons! Unbelievable! The service is super friendly and speaks English. Good to know: they only serve pizza Fridays and Saturdays!

Stopped in for dinner at the suggestion of our AirBnb host, so glad we did. Extensive menu, solid wine list, friendly, knowledgeable waitress (Paola) and extremely reasonable prices - example 4 Euro for a pizza Margherita large enough to feed one person and a 5 Euro bottle of house red (thatâs a bottle, not a glass).

We were excited to visit this restaurant having done our research prior to staying in Vico. Keeping this review as succinct as possible, the food itself was good. Not the best meal we had in Italy, but certainly not bad. Iâd give the restaurant a three out of five for food. When we ordered our meal we noted on the menu that this establishment, like many, offers a fixed price menu (starter, main and dessert etc) or a la carte. From memory the fixed price meal we chose was approx â¬45 euro per person. We specifically asked the waitress about this, asked what is and what is not included etc and everything was very clear. When we ordered we again referred to the fixed price offer and ordered our starter, main and dessert. At the end of the meal the waitress handed us our bill and I noted we had been charged the a la carte prices for the individual dishes, far more expensive than the set menu price. Without mentioning a single word, the waitress promptly returned, profusely apologising saying âshe had made a mistake and explained she had incorrectly charged the individual prices rather than the set menu offer. She went away and 5 minutes later, the head chef and owner, Fabianâs Scarica, tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to accompany her to a room at the back of the restaurant near the garden area. Once there she stated she could see no problem with the bill! She then asked me to âmeet her in the middleâ and pay a price in between the a la carte cost and the fixed price. I couldnât believe my ears! I explained that I didnât appreciate her offer and told her Iâd pay the fixed price plus drinks. She reluctantly agreed and the matter was closed.Itâs a great shame that meal ended in this way. I am usually happy to give establishments the benefit of doubt but looking back on this, there really is no excuse for trying to charge more.I would add that we whilst thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Vico and Naples we found the number of times that restaurants and shops âaccidentallyâ over charged us or âaccidentallyâ short changed us, was quite extraordinary. Beyond coincidence maybe?Dear Invictus,Iâm Fabiana, and I remember you and your family at 4th table in my garden on august of this year.I have just a problem... I donât remember what you explain in your text as: I tapped you on shoulder... and other words. So sorry. My english isnât perfect, and maybe there was a misunderstanding. I asked for your attention In private for explain, far from other people, that you had eat as you chose a la carte, but you will pay as fix menu. Now weâre on October, and i was really unhappy to read this review, because that evening my maîtresse was really mortified with you and with me,(Because she take an order a la carte) I Tought that was any problems, and today this bad bad news. (And I think ... it was my fault for my English) I hope you will change your memories about us, And youâll can understand the error at the and of your dinner. So sorry again

It's not everyday that one goes to 2 star Michelin restaurants but Chef Gennaro Esposito and his fine staff created an experience that we will long remember. We were greeted in a beautiful ancient tower where the reception area is suitated. The selection of amuse bouches was as creative as it was delicious. So was the champagne. We were invited to visit the impressive wine cellar and then the spotless, buzzing, kitchen (it seemed all of the sous chefs were working with tweezers to decorate the plates) before we were seated in the stunning dining room. I don't remember how many courses we ordered but it seemed that between course there we many "surprises" - each one as beautiful as it was delicious. We paired our meal with local white wines at the sommelier's recommendation and loved them all.In addition to exquisite food, the dishes they were served on were pieces of art....each one different and designed with a specific type of food in mind. I asked our superb waiter about them and he proudly explained that chef Gennaro takes pride not only in his food but in its presentation. He personally consults with a ceramic artist who hand makes each plate and dish!!! Truly a lovely experience.NB - Check out the online menu before reserving...it's an expensive treat.

Enjoy a special dinner or a cocktail at Luna, one of the most panoramic terraces of the Amalfi Coast
This is a one of a kind personalized al fresco dinning experience. The views are truly spectacular from the dinning terrace so arrive early enough before the sun sets. The service by the staff is also phenomenal. There is no menu and you are presented at the beginning of your experience with a tray of fresh seafood choices selected by the chef... the lobsters of course are still alive and moving! Our main was accompanied by a simple pasta dish. As an appetizer, we were offered a Mozzarella and Burrata Caprese with pieces of sautéed fish. Everything can be modified to taste of course. Dessert was a cornucopia of smaller dessert samples. Food is well prepared and of high quality... but exceptional is really only the view which comes at a hefty price (expect $200/person with wine)! Definitely an adult experience worth trying once if you enjoy seafood!
