Casual and fun seafood restaurant. Full bar, great margaritas, happy hour daily 4pm - 6pm. Local and new england seafood. Clam chowder, conch fritters, fish tacos, fish and chips. Terrific burgers. Outdoor seating in the courtyard.
We have been to the Fishshack several times and have noticed the food prices going up and the quainty of food deminishing. The service is terrible starting with the hostess, WARNING: they are now taking reservations and will make you wait while they have 5 tables open. We had a 30 minute wait and when we finally where seated the table next to us was empty and remained empty until we almost finished our meal , they could have seated someone there and still have time for the reservation. BOTTOM LINE : WE DID NOT HAVE AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE AND FELT UNWELCOME AND THAT WE WERE INCONVENIENCING THE STAFF. FOOD WAS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE......

~Simple, Savory, Seaside~ The Wave Kitchen & Bar, offers an ocean-front dining space with amazing views of the Atlantic. The restaurant offers a menu directly sourced from local farmers, fishermen and artisanal purveyors. The Wave concept was designed to
The Estafan resort in Vero has been here for years, and was built after a long ago hurricane ravished an old hotel they just bought. It's a beautiful property on the ocean and has a good restaurant. Chefs have come and gone over he years, and this showed itself in the ups and downs of the cuisine. The bar with great Mojitos made up for the food sometimes. However, now the food is much better, really good, and the bar not so good. I had the worst Mojito ever--watery, faded greens and no taste. My wife ordered a martini and the bartender (big as a bear guy) grabbed 3 olives in his hand, and then got distracted talking, and moved the olives around his hand like Captain Queeg with marbles in the Caine Mutiny. I asked for new olives. Our server, with a long blonde pigtail, was excellent as was the food. We had the appetizer combo with Ropa V, and then the special Gloria steak. The Albarino wine by the glass was very good.George A, Thanks for the great review of The Wave Kitchen & Bar. The Cuban dishes you find under the Estefan Kitchen Favorites section are always crowd favorites. And the Estefans read these reviews so they'll be happy to know you walked away satisfied! Hope you join us soon for a delicious repeat visit.Sincerely,Chad OlsonGeneral Manager

Vibrant specialty cocktails, great food and wine. Live entertainment 7 days a week. Happy Hour 4:30pm-7:00pm Monday-Thursday.
Ate at Havana Nights Piano Bar (Maison Martinique food) tonight....heavily advertised as a piano bar. Called ahead an hour to make sure they are having piano tonight...âoh yes! They will be having piano tonight!ââWhat time do they play?ââStarts 6pmâWe got there 6:45 and no music, guy still setting up. Then finally around 7pmish this guy steps up to a mic with an electric guitar and LOTS of background music - singing Buffett barely above a whisper and strumming along. âIs this karaoke night??ââNo, the piano guy needs a night off from time to time ââOn a Saturday??â...We ordered from the specials menu - asked for the ribeye special; oh guess what they are out of ribeye. So, ordered the prime rib bc itâs âreally goodâ 15 mins later server said they are OUT of prime rib. Ok, so letâs get the snapper special. And the Grouper special. Meanwhile, we are being serenaded by Jimmy Buffett whisper karaoke. We also ordered a wedge salad and it was PHENOMENAL. Then our fish came out. The snapper was WONDERFUL. The grouper also delicious but then couldnât get a fork through the center of the filet - sent it back that means itâs not cooked through. Chef told server âitâs still white but now we have to fire up another oneâThey comped us a free glass of wine while we waited for the grouper. Thanks!Grouper came out delicious second time.Thank you taking time out to leave us a rating and review! We greatly appreciate it as we do take all guest reviews into consideration when making changes and upgrades to our establishment. I am glad to hear that you did enjoy the food and were sufficiently accommodated by our staff for your troubles. We hope you will consider joining us again in the future to see the changes we have made to better serve you! Wishing you all the best.

Fine American fare & wine in elegant digs with an upstairs piano bar at the Caribbean Court Hotel.
Maison Martinique Restaurant- Vero Beach-3.5-Stars"Too many people eat just to consume calories. Try dining for a change." -- J. WaltersLocated within the luxurious Caribbean Court Boutique Resort is where one will find Maison Martinique. This almost hidden gem offers al fresco dining as well as three dining rooms within, so grabbing a table should not be a problem. However, as it is situated within the aforementioned Resort, calling ahead for a reservation wouldn't be a bad idea. As I did not, I was thankful for the ample seating and was lead to a vacant table almost immediately. Perusing the menu, I must say that I was highly impressed with the offerings and could only hope they tasted as good as they read. Suddenly, an odd idea popped into my head. Why not order all the specials off the menu today instead of flinging darts and ordering what they land on? As soon as I had this thought, my server, Aubrey appeared table side and inquired as to my readiness to order. I let it be known that I was indeed ready and asked for a Glenlivet neat*(side o'rocks) to get the ball rolling and then the specials of the day. Aubrey told me I couldn't go wrong with that choice and to that end put in an order for Curry Lamb Soup, one Goat Cheese Bake and one Bombay Sapphire Martini to wash it all down.Aubrey soon returned with my Scotch and what a Scotch it was. Just look at that picture. That had to be a 3.5 oz pour or I'm not the Big Boy (love you, Aubrey)!! I was about halfway through the Single Malt Nectar of the Gods when Aubrey set my food before me. Take a minute and glance at the rest of the pictures. As one can see, the presentation was stunning. If the food was as good as it read, looked and smelled I was in for yet another gastronomical treat in the burgeoning haute cuisine scene of Vero Beach. Let the festivities begin!I was told by a chef in Vero Beach that the bread should set the standard for the rest of the meal as it is the first sampling from the kitchen the customer experiences. This bread, as one can clearly see, was indeed baked on site. However, I have a sneaky feeling (due to taste and consistency) that is was baked from pre-made, frozen dough. While it tasted fine, it didn't hit the table running, so to speak. So far, so meh. As I could smell the curry lightly wafting up from the soup bowl, I hungrily procured my spoon and dove in. With what I assumed were red lentils(?) and USDA prime chunks of lamb, this not only jumped over the bar set by the bread but obliterated it in the process. The curry was perfectly proportioned and in no way overwhelmed the lamb. The lamb was so tender it almost melted on the palate like so much lamb flavored butter. This dish alone is 5 stars all day, every day.Moving on to the Goat Cheese Bake, I couldn't help sneak a last smell of the soup before trading in my spoon for a fork. The Goat cheese is broiled first, then baked on a fresh crostini that was crispy and chewy. The delicious red sauce added deep rich flavor to the divinely lightly crusted goat cheese. I could eat this every night. The accompanying Lobster and Scallop baked rice was soft and flavorful, though I could swear that the seafood rested too long and slightly killed the dish. The asparagus, while cooked to veggie perfection, lacked enough seasoning. The Bombay Sapphire Martini sans blue cheese stuffed olives was still delightful and just as heavy as the Glenlivet. As I mentioned at the start, this is the first time I have ever spurned the menu to order all specials. As such, I have to give credit where credit is due and all in all this kitchen crew knows what they are doing and sling forth some excellent chow. However, with the bread being the bread that it was and the seafood over rested, I stand firmly behind my 3.5 Star rating. The Big Boy says, "For a strong drink and a Goat Cheese Bake you can eat all day, call up and reserve a table at Maison Martinique." #iamthebigboy #bigboydiningoutHi Big Boy, Thank you so much for a very descriptive and awesome review. It was such a pleasure to have you come experience dinner with us. We look forward to serving you again! Hope to see you soon!

The Ocean Grill is an icon along the Vero Beach shoreline. Literally built right out over the beach sand, the 70-year-old building has a long and storied history recounted on its website. It has been operated since 1965 by the Replogle family, and a secon
Went for lunch to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Was absolutely worth every dollar. Two lobster rolls, two bowls of clam chowder, two drinks for 85 dollars. Is very pricey but more reasonable at lunch. Service was excellent and they go all out for Halloween and makes it even better for the overall experience of fine dining.

I donât usually use trip advisor to write reviews, more so to see if the restaurant or hotel we are visiting is up to par. This restaurant is definitely an exception, and hereâs why: The food is completely cooked to perfection- vegetables not soggy nor solid, mashed potatoes are deliciously flavorful and definitely made IN HOUSE (none of that market bought bull), and donât even get me started on the wagyu strip steak. Melt in your mouth - cut it with your fork - charred outside and tender inside - DELICIOUSNESS. I opted for the filet because Iâm more of a lean meat type, but after tasting my husbands wagyu I will most definitely be getting that for myself next time. My mother in law is gluten free and wanted the shrimp fra diablo without the pasta; the kitchen and staff were very accommodating and gave her a beautiful bed of mixed vegetables with the diablo sauce and jumbo shrimp on top. Did I mention the shrimp was jumbo? The shrimp was so amazing, she was talking about it for the rest of the night. My father in-law on the other hand, is a piccata fanatic. Nothing compares to his homemade chicken piccata and nothing will change his mind... until Di Mare. Their veal piccata had him almost licking the plate. Their fork tender, thin but not too thin, veal slices were definitely the highlight of his night. Not to mention the beautifully flavored piccata sauce paired well with the side of rice and mixed vegetables that came with the plate. Although, and hats off to the chef for this, the wild rice couldâve been put on a plate by itself with a garnish of parsley and called a delicacy and we wouldâve loved it. I personally have never been to a restaurant that can make RICE taste like heaven. All in all, the service was outstanding, the food was outstanding, and the restaurant as a whole was delightful. Absolutely no complaints, we will be back again VERY soon. Thanks Di Mare!!!

I went with friends for the Crab Stopâs âsoft openingâ and had the same great food that theyâve been know for for several years. I had the $7.99 Garlic Shrimp and Garlic Potatoes lunch special. It was terrific! The staff was attentive and the location is fantastic. Located at: 89 Royal Palm Pointe, Vero Beach, FL. The location was formerly occupied by Cajun Cove and can be found at the SE corner of Royal Palm Pointe and Indian River Boulevard. Thank you!!

Great food with a great view, happy hour . Great local spot and if you are on vacation you will feel right at home!
Nice atmosphere on the riverfront but the food was just OK. I thought it was kind of pricey, $70 for 2 people, included 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks. The house was hopping the night we were there, so get there early. Our waitress was great and she gave us a free dessert for my birthday!

Stopped in as we were passing thru from Savannah to the Keys on a friend's recommendation. Impressed by all attributes here. Service was friendly, helpful, attentive, cheerful and professional. My wife loved the crab cakes to start and I very much linked the scollops. She went with a delicious salmon grilled fillet main and I had wonderful grouper, Everything was memorable. Looked at the attractive dessert tray ( at least 10 great homemade selections) but passed (very regretfully) to not bust calorie budgets.
