We visited Lindy's on May 30, 2919 with relatives who had already been there. It did not disappoint! The building was recently renovated and very CLEAN and inviting. There is a bar area, many tables, and great wait staff. The bathrooms are new, spotless, and designed well. The food was prompt, of generous proportions, and steaming hot! Not one complaint from our party!

The service is freindly and attentive at Gia's. A decent Italian menu, complemented with daily specials. The southern red sauce is well done, the veal and chicken dishes , excellent and the seafood is usually fresh and nicely portioned. reasonably decent dessert offerings. wine list needs help, but we were assured this was in process on our last visit.

If you are a people watcher here is a place to go. You order and pay at the first window and pick up at the other when they call your number. There are multiple places to sit to enjoy your meal. On weekends you can get carhop experience or you can sit at the picnic tables in the front or go under tent like area in the back. I had the fish and chips. So good! Comes with French fries, cole slaw and lemon wedge and tartar sauce with a generous serving of haddock, deep fried to a light golden brown. This is a seasonal outdoor restaurant and closes shortly after labor day. Bring the kids, they will love it!

We heard the Prime Rib was very good here. My wife ordered the Queen Cut. I ordered the Flintstone Cut (40 oz). They were both delicious, tender, and tasty. Probably the best I've had and I've had many. The service was also excellent.

Quick summary: very good traditional fish & chips. Order at the counter, and take a seat or take out. Friendly, professional service at the counter. Moderate prices.I have been coming here for decades when I have visited family in the area. The family moved out of town, but I stop in from time to time.We get the classic fish & chips ($11.25), and often add the fried clam strips ($11.30; $20 for whole belly) includes fires unless ordered as a side order, and the fish cake ($4.85, includes fries), which is actually a piece of fish between slices of potato (not the fish cake mash you might imagine.)Yes, the fish here is battered and deep fried to a delicious greasiness (but NOT overdone greasiness.) You wil have a tasty mouthful of traditional fish & chips. The fries are also good. Like any properly done F & C, this is best consumed fresh, MAYBE only slightly microwaved at home the day of for a bit more heat by the time you get it home, but it gets a bit soggy if you try to keep it longer.The point: this is traditional, delicious fish & chips as you would find in the best places in England (yes, I know.) We typically take out, but you can dine in.
