Heading for Atlanta Airport and a long-haul flight, so with some time to spare we headed for an Off-Airport Restaurant for a pre-flight supper.Had had several favourable comments so - let's go and try.Slow and disinterested Service wrought some very average food - dry, overcooked and too long under a heat lamp. Might have made a fuss and sought Management Input, but Mum would have been embarrassed, so simply paid and left.Very disappointing.

Low country boil in a box! And a very fine execution at that. What a pleasure to find properly cooked, fabulously flavored seafood in Atlanta that is not crazily overpriced. It really is satisfying to get what feels like your money's worth.My order was so hot and fresh it stayed very, very warm even after a forty minute trip across town to its destination. Atlanta is lucky to have The Crab Pot here!They are located in the shopping center behind the Taco Bell on Old National Highway, in case you miss your turn.

I was pretty excited about my visit. The food was good but I was disappointed. The spicy barbeque shrimp appetizer was good however i found it to be on the low end of spicy to my liken. I was anticipating a much spicier sinus clearing dish. I would order it again but request to turn up the heat. The shrimp were very good. I chose the Jambalaya and this was disappointing as it was extremely dry. Shrimp was good and the sausage was good. I avoided the chicken as the first chunky I ate was full of gristle and I just placed it on the side dish and ate no more chicken. It was extremely dry. It was tasty. As I just looked at my receipt I saw that I was charged $18.99 but on the menu on their web page it says $14.99. So that adds to the disappointment. My service was really great. The server was very attentive. As a note the security guard walking around the location I assume is a good thing but from being out of town was concerning. I thought the location was open till 11 but realized they were closing early when the server apologized that the unsweetened tea had been thrown out. I was offered soda or water neither do I drink. Absolutely fantastic! I should've reviewed this place last week but nonetheless it was a very pleasant experience! I was visiting the Dunwoody area and decided to hop on Yelp go see what place had some good shrimp and grits! I had been cracking this dish for quite some time and being that I'm from California I had to take advantage of being down south and ordering this! I stumbled across this place looked at a few reviews and pictures and proceeded to call in and order the shrimp and grits followed by a side of catfish! Believe the total was just over $16 but I tell you what it was very much worth it! The extra $4-5 they charged for the catfish was steep for the portion they gave however the main dish of the shrimp and grits was so satisfying that I got over the stingy portion of catfish quick! I would definitely return!

I drove out based on the reviews. First, it is now takeout only. There was a large line. The food was good, but not great. I didn't find the portions to be large, but they were adequate. The prices were in line with other similar places. I would go back, if I was in the area but I would not drive from my hotel on Virginia Ave.

This restaurantâs new name is Kings Fish and Wings. This is really a great restaurant. When we lived in Atlanta for 5 years, we came here quite often. I don't eat chicken, but their shrimp Lo Mein was always good. So many different wing flavors to choose from and they even have crab boils. My husband ordered the shrimp fried rice and lemon pepper wings. I had the tilapia with fries. For the drinks, my husband had peach lemonade and I had fruit punch. We will definitely be back.

Time in and time out, the food is good but sometimes if there is a rush and high volume times your order can be wrong or incomplete. Friday afternoon into evenings are the worse for this. Again this place has had a lot of turnover and manager changes over the years. It is fast food. Take out is always good too. Always look for coupons in the paper too!!
