Discover our specialities of fresh fish and typical local dishes in this fishing village, just in front of the sea. Enjoy our wine D.O. list and our home made desserts.
I visited this place with my two Italian friends on a Sunday afternoon off-season. The service was very nice, the waiter even cleaned the delicious fresh fish for us. We had octopus a la gallega as a starter - excellent choice. Fresh fish as main course.Dessert was okay but too big and better to share. I would definitely visit again! Good choice Gracias amigo. Estamos muy contentos después de leer su comentario. Gracias por elejirnos. Esperamos volver a verle pronto. Saludos desde Ajuy

My partner and I went ther few days ago. And we always have very good fresh fish dishes, simply made tasting great. Very easy going place, to enjoy food outside overlooking the beach or inside for the chilly evenings. Lovely friendly staff. Another must try in Tarajalejo

More than a simple restaurant ,a special place whether to eat well and to feel better! A moment of relax? A romantic dinner or among old friends? Simply, good food and good mood ! A little bit different , just ...good food and good mood .
We visited this restaurant a couple of nights ago. I had booked a table via Facebook a couple of hours before. We were seated in the outside area, where we were surrounded by tables with people smoking, it would have been better if we had been asked if we wanted the smoking or non-smoking area. There were plenty of tables available inside where nobody was smoking. Other than that, we had a wonderful evening, the staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent especially the roast beef starter, the seafood spaghetti and the wonderful nutella mousse. Overall a very good experience but if you don't want to be seated beside people smoking , it is as well to specify when you book.Thank you very much for your time to write this opinion of our restaurant and staff. We are sorry we didnât explain that outside in Spain it is everywhere a smoking area . Next time , please tell us when you have whatever problem , so we can help you directly . Thanks again and hope to see you soon again, greetings Eduard

We had just been kayaking so we're looking for some place to eat.We ordered mojitos but had to wait 10 mins because it was very busy and only 2staff. One of the staff gave us a free bread, chicken and chilli dish while we waited.Great service tasty snacks and drinks.

Walk along the promenade into the fishing village, right to the end then turn left. Go up the hill and keep going past a car park on your left - the restaurant is on the left just past this. Don't let the exterior put you off - the food is gorgeous. This is a spanish restaurant and they do not understand or speak much english but are very friendly. We had squid which was very tender, fillet steak, chicken and chips. All were around 12 euros and were all delicious. Best meal we had all fortnight - only wish we had found it earlier!

We had visited the caves and the interesting trece peces shop and decided to lunch in this restaurant alongside the beachThe garlic prawns were good as was the grilled local fish served with salad and Canarian potatoesThe cheese starter and the breaded chicken main course were less interesting and the latter was dryThe service was quick and pleasant and the surrounding scenery very attractive

Unfortunately I am disappointed to make a bad review of this restaurant as actually the food is really nice. The staff are also really nice, however the owner is disrespectful and does not understand people who have allergies. I am allergic to peas and ordered paella and specifically explained the allergy on ordering. The paella came with peas in it. I explained it was not possible t eat this as I have an allergy. I said the paella could stay at the table as it was a sharing dish however I would just order something else. Which I did. When the bill came they charged for the full paella and the extra dish, I felt this was unfair as now we dined with 8 people but were charged for 9 Peopleâs meals. They could not understand the problem, even though the dish they brought could of actually caused a severe reaction. I donât mind the problem as it was rectified and the food was nice, however the owner could not understand the bill, we were prepared to give the extra cost as a tip to staff, however we could not do this as the owner was adamant that all the meals should be paid for. It is a shame. Allergies are very serious and should be treated so by restaurant owners. Unfortunately disappointed.

Lost in translation when the order was taken, I'd been looking forward to a nice platter of mixed fish but seems the waiter didn't understand me, got a mediocre piece of fish although tasty ,we were disappointed not to get what we wanted.

Excellent small restaurant serving delicious food, tapas and fish speciality of the place. Right on the beach, spectacular views from the terrace. A simple non fussy touristy village eateries filled with lots of locals when we visited. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. So good we went twice.

My roll was as hard as a rock. I ordered papas fritas and got potatoes. The fish was very good and nicely cooked, the sopa de mariscos good and prices were reasonable. The host tries very hard. Would visit again.
