Can only recomment this restaurant with a very special mix of antic and modern interiør. Very varm and cozy place. I have tryed a lot on the meny but my favourite is the cod derved with cabbage, chili, lobster butter, hollandaise sauce & fresh potatoes in butter. Service is excellente. Will be back many times.

We went for lunch in a beautiful sunny day with the temperature-6.The interior is typical of the norwegian tradition. Wood skillfully worked. We took a fish soup, mussels and a peculiar sandwich with meat and vegetables inside.Nothing really special but good enough to have the pleasure of eating it. One beer one mineral water total: 613 krowns.Service in the normal average.Could go back.

This is the only non-hotel restaurant my wife and I ate at in Sandefyord, but we really enjoyed it. Good seafood at reasonable (by Norwegian standards) prices. English-speaking staff, great view of the harbor area.

As I was unable to book for dinner until late - the capacity of the kitchen was 40 pax at a time - I only had breakfast, which was absolutely wonderful. A laden smorgasbord with cheeses, meats, fish, pastries, all sorts of breads and muffins plus a waffle maker and plenty of hot food as well. They also had a large section of gluten free breads and crisp breads. Very good coffee and juices. I looked at the dinner menu which was very limited - beef, fish and hamburger.

Pleasant and casual waterfront restaurant where you can enjoy, good food, great view and take a time out from everyday life. Reservations for dinner are recommended in high season.
The food was definitely better than what we thought! Ate the fish soup, and it can be highly recommended! The other main fish course was also very good! Don't eat the burger, unless it's at a burger place. However, the service was okey. They do need to train their waitresses a lot better... no particular knowledge of the food or drinks. And not very professional. High music in the restaurant, but they were kind enough to turn it down so we could speak - we were the first ones there for dinner.

Casual Seafood Restaurant run by Bocuse d'Or winner Geir Skeie, on the quay in Sandefjord. Focus on local catched seafood from the fishermen that come in to the restaurant every day
6 grown up ladies out having a good meal.We were welcomed by smiling servants and got a table with a nice view over the harbor. We decided for the 3 course menu of the day, kr 500 and with the wine packet kr 335. Starter and main dishes of tasty fish and lovely dessert. We were served one glass of wine with the starter and one with the main dish and a glass of dessert wine with the dessert. The waiter informed us about the dishes and wines. The food was tasty, but not outstanding. We all agreed the prices are too high. Especially the wine. I would have expected one more glass with the main course for that price.Overall nice evening at the restaurant, but wonât go and pay so much for this kind of meal once more.Hello Merethe H!Thanks for a good review, very sorry that you think our prices is so high though. I think you will have problem finding cheaper 3 course meal with fresh seafood and quality wine anywhere else in Norway to be honest. Most restaurants charge 600 and up for a 3 course and a glass of quality wine costs usually 120,- and up.We need to pay our workers a reasonable salary which is where most of the cost goes.Hope you anyway will have a great summer with good food and good wine together with happy friends!! Sorry to not be able to reach your expectations on price

Welcome to Verdens Ende Spiseriet. Our full service restaurant with an ocean view, is located at Verdens Ende ( World's End) on Tjøme in Faerder National Park, Vestfold.
Magnificent sea scape...part of a national park that includes the archipelago & historic sites. The area is magical. We walked the rocks and admired the views ( and family of swans) - then enjoyed a wonderful meal in the restaurant. Great service, friendly & helpful. Great food - fish soup, confit duck & fresh halibut - all delicious. Poached pear in caramel & chocolate dessert finished the meal. A highlight of our visit!
