Things to do in Teramo

Carducci Bistrot offers a gastronomic journey with a true and loyal cuisine based on fresh fish from the Adriatic and top quality products.

We'd been meaning to try this restaurant for ages and when Teramo was 'fully booked' recently we thought we'd stop by and try. There is a casual dining area adjacent to the pesceria, which was very busy and looked like typical local cuisine, however we opted for the fine dining area which is further along, with a separate entrance. Having been past it many times it always looked a bit formal and 'empty', however although there were only three tables occupied it was quite cosy and intimate. The chef, Alessandro served each table personally, explaining what his latest creations were, the menu bore little resemblance to what was actually on offer!I had a great prima of spaghetti with king prawns, very light and totally delicious! My husband had a classic insalata di mare which was also fab.We chose a John Dorey for main, although didn't actually see it. IT WAS HUGE! And really too big for the two of us...although we did eat it all. :-) Baked al forno with potatoes, classically done and beautiful.Wine was okay, though more expensive than other restaurants in Teramo for the exact same bottle. So overall, a good rescue for the evening and a delicious meal in a warm environment, with personal and attentive service.I'd go back again without hesitation, but ensure I saw the fish first, and chose my wine carefully. From a value perspective, considering the fish was 1.3kg it was on par with other fine dining restaurants.

I was taken to this seafood restaurant by some business associates and the food and service was great! I did not know what to order so we took what the restaurants owner suggested and it was perfect. 5 different seafood and fish starters with tuna, crayfish, large prawns, different kinds of clams, then a seafood pasta and to top it off some more seafood as a main dish. :-)

Specialities of our restaurant are Fish (using fresh fish) and Pizza. Menu satisfies the needs of all our customers and the amazing variety of pizza will make them happy. Pizza is cooked with wood oven of last generation where there is no contact between
On our first night in Teramo we decided to try Chez Roberto - and I sure am glad that we did! This restaurant's food was delicious, and the staff was very attentive (probably helped that we showed up at 6:30 pm).We heavily over ordered but it made it great for sharing everything and tasting many different dishes on the menu. This place has a great vibe and by the time we were leaving (around 9:00 pm) it was packed! Clearly everyone has found out about the great food this restaurant has. I highly recommend coming here at least once while in Teramo! It was one of our favorite meals in town!

A special and charming location awaits you in the heart of Teramo, characterized by elegant and relaxing atmosphere that surrounds a fusion cuisine that mixes the Japanese tradition with the best European and Mediterranean flavors. For a drink or dinner y
With some reluctance we accepted an invitation to dine at OISHI. Although fish lovers, we have always preferred it well cooked and have avoided sushi. Well, after trying a variety of dishes - including some that did contain some cooked fish -I can honestly say that we were overwhelmed with the taste experience and really LOVED it. It was delightful to watch the chef creating his works of art and, as others have said, the service and setting are excellent. If anyone is wary of trying Japanese fusion, please don't be - it really is wonderful! Oh, and the fresh edamame beans are to die for!

Visiting friends we stumbled across this restaurant in the middle of Teramo. Inside it was smart, the service and food were good and the wine was very reasonable. It wasn't the most innovative of menus, but we all enjoyed our food and the portions were generous.

Ristorante di pesce, cucina semplice ma innovativa, dai crudi abbinati alla frutta ,ai deliziosi primi tuttaltro che rivisti,
the place was beautiful, elegant and welcoming but of course the best thing was the fresh fish food. I asked for an aperitif. The dishes were delicious, the waitresses were friendly and the price paid was right for the quality. I would recommend everyone to go.
