Taken here by friends prior to the drive back to New York. This family run diner was packed with locals. They have a very comprehensive menu offering standard American breakfast items with special boards. Turn over of dinners is fast and we did not wait long for a booth. Our server was very efficient in taking our order and getting the food out. Generally the place was clean, the food good with fair amounts on the plate.

We visited on a Tuesday morning and had a coffee, happily served by Gail. John and a birthday 'boy' were playing crib. As total strangers we were made to feel really welcome and we probably stayed a bit longer than we should as we were en route to Boston - Logan airport for our return trip home to Norfolk, England. Many thanks for your conversation and coffees.

We took out 4 pizzas from here recently. They were...onions, mushroom, cheese...cheese...buffalo chicken...and a meat lover's type. The dough is good...different, but good. The meat pizza was good + loaded. I would call the other 3 pizzas average or less. The problem? They use like a teaspoon of sauce on their pizzas. Maybe not even a teaspoon, maybe they just stick a butter knife in the sauce pan and wipe one side on a pizza, then wipe the other side on another pizza. Maybe they ran out of sauce 'til the end of the year! So...the cheese pizza was particularly bad, like dough and cheese. To make matters worse, I think it's AMERICAN cheese, it's definitely not mozzarella. The cheese had no elasticity. The cheese is weird. You can't see the sauce, you can't taste it. Maybe it's some kind of invisible, non-tasting sauce, who knows? The meat pizza was better because you didn't miss the sauce, even though it wasn't there. We won't be returning unless they get a shipment of tomato sauce, a ladle, and learn how to use it. You really shouldn't say you are selling a cheese PIZZA if it's just cheese on dough!!! I don't know, I've been eating pizza for over 60 years. I don't think if you crush up some Oreos, and put cranberries and walnuts on top of dough, that you have created something great. You want GREAT traditional pizza? Look for a Sal's, not the stuff in Market Basket, but a real Sal's. If you like stuff like peanut butter + jelly on your pizza, then Dough Licious is the place for you, I guess. I don't understand it...........I'm sorry to hear you were not happy with our pizzas. Just so you understand how our pizzas are made we do use a ladle to measure out our sauce on our pizzas. For our pizza cheese we use a three blend pizza cheese and have never used American cheese for our pizza cheese. Thank you for trying us!
