Kompház (ferry house) is known for its excellent friend hake, but you can also have non fish based food too, there. (grilled chicken breast, pork etc.) But the main attraction is definitely the fried hake with fries or picked cucumber :) It is a self service joint so once your food is ready they call your number and you simply cash & carry :) Highly recommended if you like hake !

Located near the Duna river opposite Csepel island this is a fun place to have fried hake, pancakes or the traditional lángos. They have good selection of beers, ciders and lemonades as well. This is a self service place but sometimes the people working there can be somewhat rude and unfriendly. (like yesterday) All in all this is a fun place to visit during season.

We had a nice experience in this restaurant. Service was above average, the waiters were really nice, the food was delicious. Personally, I think the interior decor is too much, and even on this touristic area on the Danube coast the place is somewhat overpriced.
