Summary:I lived in China for a couple of years and am impressed with the authenticity of this place. It has the look and feel of many seafood restaurants that I had visited while living there. The food is tasty and the service is good. The prices are not bad for the quality of the experience.Details:We were in the Sugar Land area on business and our client suggested we meet here for lunch. The facility was not difficult to find. The storefront appearance was decent but nothing special. The interior was strikingly similar to many seafood restaurants I had visited in China. The spacious interior featured plenty of seating with red covered chairs and white table cloths conveying the regal look popular with Chinese establishments. There were six in our party yet we were seated very quickly. Our server attended to us right away and did a good job taking care of us during our visit. The menu was replete with favorites and emphasized seafood though there were plenty of options. I went for a poultry favorite as I decided on the chicken curry. It was accompanied by a Spring Roll and rice. I was quite happy with my choice as the curry was very tasty and perfectly spiced. The prices were not bad. I did not see the final bill but my estimate was that the cost was about $14 - $15 per person including tax and tip. From my perspective, this was a good deal.In general, this is a very authentic Chinese Seafood restaurant near Sugar Land. The food is quite good, the service is efficient and the atmosphere is like a place straight from the Chinese mainland. The prices are relatively reasonable making this place a good bargain.

If youâre in the area and youâre craving some catfish (or crawfish, or shrimp, or red beansâ¦), stop by and get yourself a Razzooâs fix.
Based on location, I imagine the worst job in the area is running front of the house at Razzoo's. However, there was the reservation taker and the door opener and 3 other staff earning wages vs clearing tables and seating guests. This place needs a new front of house manager or training. The person who sat us didn't say a word or even drop menus or even offer any welcoming other than indicating this is where we'd be seated. Specials were not addressed, no mention of any recommended dishes. GREAT looking menu with some high end graphics and details. Dishes were served out of order which again is a front house issue. Apps came after entrees. 5 of 7 items we ordered were REALLY good. Prices are fair.Hi jlukemorgan - Thanks for your honest review, we appreciate it. Your feedback is important to us and we have taken your comments to our staff appropriately as we work to improve our guest experience. Thanks for your time.

Based on my first and only visit, I gotta say this place is great. I had the oysters on the half shell and they could not have been fresher or tastier. I also had the seafood gumbo and it was just like they make it in La Fayette, Louisiana. When the owner noticed that the waiter was a little overwhelmed by some groups coming in at the same time, he came from behind the counter and gave me a beer. That's good service.

Nice cajun restaurant .Atmosphere is very Louisiana style cajun. The food was good. We had the flounder and chicken fried steak. I had my favorite snapper ponchatrain . however although the fish was good it was so overwhelmed by the sauce it was disappointing.

Very pleasant restaurant with excellent wait staff. Went for dinner. One of us ordered the grilled shrimp platter with asparagus. Came with 6 shrimp and 8 spears of asparagus. Nothing else. No sauce for either the shrimp or the asparagus, just grilled. Cost $29.95.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. My husband and I met a co-worker of his and the co-worker's family, which included 2 kids under 7. Co-worker lives in the area and tends to choose restaurants based on their beer selection, so I wasn't sure there'd been any thought given to the menu itself, but everyone found something they liked (crab legs, etouffee, fish sticks and macaroni for the kids) and all the plates were empty by the end of the meal, so obviously everyone was happy. Our server did a great job keeping up with drink refills and such, and the crayons and placemats kept the kids busy while we waited to be served. The only complaint I have is that we were seated in the front window in the corner, at a round booth. The booth and table were not sized to work together, because there was not enough room for people to sit on all sides of the booth around the table - the table was too big for the opening in the center of the booth.

The Rouxpour is a New Orleans inspired restaurant with four locations in Houstonâs surrounding areas. Known for our delicious variety of chargrilled oysters, fresh seafood and inviting atmosphere you are sure to love being our guest.
I came to Sugar Land 6 months ago and trying the local cuisine was not something I enjoyed, so this time around I had my reservations...I was pleasantly surprised when someone suggested this place and the food proved me wrong, hands-down the best steak I have had in a very long time. It was juicy, delicious, cooked to perfection and so were the vegetables, crunchy and fresh. The oysters were beautifully presented and divine! First time I tried cooked ones but I couldn't resist the smell, my favourite the ones the Rockefeller. And all with a beautiful Californian red, I can't remember its name sadly but it was sublime and it went perfect with my choice of food.

Convivial chain dishing up hearty portions of New Orleans-style seafood, steaks, salads & more.
Anywhere we eat around Houston, around Texas or in other states; we always compare the seafood to Pappa's restaurants and few measure up to the taste. The gumbo is outstanding and the fish is always fresh. Service is excellent but can be a bit slow during really busy dining times. We usually try to go early or later so not to wait long.

Right in the heart of Sugar Land Town Square, our local friends brought us here and we're glad they did. A generally nice atmosphere, very neat and tidy, with very friendly and accommodating wait staff. We started off with appetizers of Veggies Tempura, which is a medley of squash or zuccini, brocolli, sweet potatoes and I don't know what else, but it was delicioius, along with soy sauce and ginger sauce for dipping. Another was their edamame, also very good. For dinner, we ordered a large sampler of sushi rolls of Shaggy Dog, Rock & Roll, and a few others. All were exceptional and delicious. If I'm ever this way again, I'll come back. Reasonably priced.
