I know I gave them a thumbs up after being open only two weeks, but my second visit was a culinary disappointment. I mentioned in my first review back in April that if they kept up with the excitement they certainly would make it. Our most recent experience leads me to believe differently. My wife ordered the braised Sirloin. What arrived was more like a bowl of stew. It was what appeared to be beef cut in small cubes, mushrooms and some other small diced vegetables. To be honest, a can of Cambell's beef stew looked better. Chef, shame on you. It was quiet that night. Take your time and use the creativity you are blessed with and make every meal one that your customers will never forget. That's my two cents.Hi Robert - I think your wife misunderstood the dish. It was Gnocchi & Braised Beef Stroganoff in a goat cheese and sour cream sauce. It has been quite a hit at the restaurant. - Debbie Gioquindo, Managing Partner.

On Friday, July 12, at 1:00 p.m., our party of 10 had lunch outside on the third level. Our waiter was Ben. I can't begin to express the service we received. Ben was personable, attentive and one of the best waiters ever. Our party ordered a variety of food and drinks, all of which were fantastic. However, Ben is what made our luncheon so enjoyable. He was there every time someone had a request. Thank you Ben. The Windrift is lucky to have you.Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We are so glad that you were happy with your server, Ben and will be sure to share this with his manager.

Quahog's combines a classic New England seafood shack with South American inspired cuisine. Since 2019, Quahog's is pleased to offer a full-service bar to complement our dining experience. Join us before dinner for a quick drink, or linger over a mezcal i
Having been here several times in the past, we realized that this restaurant will not be in our future. Despite giving a lot of prior notice that we were a table of 7, they insisted on having us squeeze seven people into a round table for 6. I saw several other people at Round Tables of 6 with more than 6 people pointing at the large tables which were unoccupied and they were denied the opportunity to sit comfortably. Right next to us was a long rectangular table never occupied throughout the night. The waitress was very inconsistent and to some tables gave a nice introduction and to others had a scowl on her face and was rather miserable. No one smiled. The place was very humid and rather uncomfortable. After each interaction with a serving staff, we all looked at each other rather curiously why these people were actually servers since they were so miserable. We once asked what one of the following words meant on the menu and were responded to in a very condescending explanation and tone of voice. It really it was just a negative interaction from the time we arrived. It's a miracle that people still go to this restaurant in my opinion not because of the food but because the experience itself was Dreadful..There are so many better choices. We are really appalled to hear this feedback about our staff. We take any allegations of rudeness very seriously and will address with the team. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Unusually good crab cakes: fresh and lots of it, with very little else. Just a bit of something else for flavor and to hold the char. Baked potato unusually large and tasty, topped with course sea salt. Mediocre, too-sweet pasta-with-marinara side is available as alternative to fried or baked potato. Skip the pasta and you'll be in heaven here.

My husband and I ate here on a night when it was pouring rain. Although it was late, we were unable to book a reservation online and just walked in. We were seated right away.Itâs nicely decorated with a nautical theme. I had the shrimp tacos which were wonderful and my husband had the portobello sandwich which he enjoyed. I tried a special cocktail ( blood and sand?) which was ok. They have an extensive beer menu which was great for my husband. Will return!

At Spiaggetta you're always assured of three things: fresh fish, handmade past and Italian hospitality. Special events, private banquets & rehearsal dinners, Brunch Saturday and Sunday all summer long
Good service. But Ordered the branzino. Menu said it comes over polenta with zucchini I think. Didnât order an appâwanted to leave room for dinner. That was a mistake. 2 very thin pieces of fish. Served over a piece of âpolentaâ about the size of a half dollar. One very thin slice of zucchini. I finished the meal in a couple of minutes. Left hungry!I'm glad the service left you impressed, although I'm sorry for any disappointment with your polenta and branzino. Rest assured we would have been more than happy to address any issues with your order immediately. If you're ever back in the area, we'd love another opportunity to match you up with something from the menu you'll enjoy.Sincerely,Marco T., Business Owner

A perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing lunch or an exciting night out after a day taking in the Jersey Shore's sun and sights. From the moment you step inside our doors you will feel the vibe that is distinctly Fins.
Just stopped in for something light and wound up ordering and sharing two appetizers. The fried calamari was very good, as was the lobster Mac and cheese. Both portions were very generous but a little too salty. Service was good, and ambiance pleasant with several large, beautiful fish tanks. Convenient location on the Washington Mall.

The seafood we use is the freshest and locally caught. We offer mako, swordfish, flounder and scallops when in season from our local fishermen. We use only jumbo lump crabmeat. Saturday night our prime rib is certified black angus. All soups are made from
Weâve been to Menz several times with family (not my choice!). I do not understand the fascination with this place. The food is overpriced and nothing special. The service was spotty at best-as if they did not have sufficient waitstaff. The portions are decent but for the price should be more. The decor is very eclectic...like someone took an antique store and blended it with your crazy uncleâs taxidermy collection (do you really want a deer or moose mounted on the wall, staring at you as you eat?). The gift/candy shop was nice-kids and adults will get a kick out of the âpenny candyâ. I get it that this establishment is a long time fixture in Cape May County (hence the multiple pictures of FDR). I guess everyone needs to go once for the experience. Do so, and then move on. And try not to be freaked out by the two-headed goat.
