Most perfect location! But oh my word, what a nasty experience. Staff has no idea about service. You can see them openly discussing the patrons. Two of us ordered fish and chips. Raw fish in a thick oily batter. Recycled salad and dry chips. Another friend ordered mussels which according to the menu comes with ciabatta but does not?! Eventually got a few slices of something - after showing them their own menu! This place has EVERYTHING going for them, but it's so poor. We'll never go there again. And no owner or manager in sight. Shocking and sad. Oh and the winelist....eish!!!

What an excelent little restaurant. The waitress was very friendly from the point I made my booking. During service she was helpful and assisted us warmly and friendly. The food was very nice from the starters to dessert. The calamari was abit over cooked but still very nice. Me and my family and friends enjoyed the night very much. Thank you

Hillside Kitchen is a cosy little take-away place with a seating option. It is located at 19 Voortrekker St Stilbaai and offers wonderful feel good food and a casual dining experience at a great price!

Hillside Kitchen always have the best seafood and chips. They also have a great selection of freshly baked cakes when you have time for a quick coffee.

My parents and I had a lovely meal with friendly service. It being a Monday during the off season we were expecting it to be very quiet - and so it was. My mother had the lamb pie which was a tad on the salty side. The pork my father and I had was quite satisfactory - lovely crackling on the pork belly...There is a good selection of affordable wines. For a wider selection pop around to little shop in the center of the complex. Abigail was a good host and made us feel most welcome.Hi Kobus - thank you for the review and for visiting the Botterkloof Restaurant. I am pleased that you have enjoyed your meals and found the service received satisfactory. We ordered the Yellowtail special, the fish nuggets, which were as usual very good! We also ordered the 10 âmediumâ prawns! These prawns were in no way medium!! they even struggled to make the small category! The Prawns were very disappointing! Rest was fine.

This is the best restaurant by far in the Stillbaai area. The food are excellent no matter what you order but try the ribs.!! Service superior and other restaurants should learn from them. Great value for money and relax and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this place if you visiting. Calamari and fish were super nice. Nice place to eat even in your swimwear and plakkies. Only problem - you can only pay with cash. We had to go look for an atm.Thank you for your review. We appreciate it. From 6th March 2019, Credit card facility available. Sorry for the inconvenience.
