Where to eat Seafood food in St. George: The Best Restaurants and Bars

July 9, 2020 Esmeralda Fenner

Reviews on Seafood food in St. George, Utah, United States. St. George is central to some of the most dramatic natural beauty in the American West, from the Mojave Desert to Zion National Park and the Pine Valley Mountains. While its summers are hot, St. George's mild and largely snow-free winters make it popular with golfers, hikers and bikers. In fact, Brigham Young wintered here – his home in town is open to the public.

Hawaiian Poke Bowl

I went to the Hawaiian Poke Bowl a few years back when I was in St. George for a school related competition with some of my classmates and remember it being really good, which was surprising for a land locked state. Now, 4 years later, I came back and the food is just as good as I remember it being. Great marinades and healthy portions to keep you full. It is an establishment that deserves the high praise it gets. This restaurant gets busy fast, but that is the sign of a great establishment.

The view is spectacular with the dining room high on a bluff overlooking the city of St George. As we dined last night, a big bold orange full moon rose over the city, gracing our dinner with its splendor.Food is excellent, service is professional. Prices are reasonable. I rarely give five stars, but Cliffside earns the accolade.Hello there Jersey-Jack, Thank you very much for your Five Star Review of Cliffside Restaurant! We appreciate your generous review and your comments about your evening. The view is spectacular, especially if the moon is out like you were able to experience last night! Chose here to enjoy a treat and a nice birthday lunch. Not so busy and we were seated quickly, so we got our drinks real fast. The service was good, the meal was ok, slightly wilted Ceasars Salad but the Cajun Chicken Pasta was excellent along with the Salmon. Our Brownie ala mode hit the spot. Thanks Red Lobster for it mostly being good.

Went in and saw three tables with customers, and many empty tables and STILL had to wait to be seated! Seriously?? Waited for 10 minutes for a table. Finally got seated. We had ice water waiting for us. The server asked if we needed time to look at the menu. DUH! Big mistake on our part for not being ready immediately. About 20 minutes later, the server returned. We placed our order. About 25 minutes later we were served. The server was very pleasant and friendly, and the food (cheese steak sandwiches with salad) was okay.Thank you for taking the time to review us. We agree you shouldn't have had to wait to be seated and are looking into why that happened so it can be corrected. We hope to be able to earn your business back.
