A treasure of a seafood restaurant in citta s. angelo. This review is seriously long overdue since we have been eating on a very regular basis at Margazzill for several years now. The very fact that we continue to enjoy eating here is a testamony to the fact that the quality of this restaurant is very high since we are very finicky eaters. Recently, the owner Claudio has built a brand new restaurant where the very comfortable ambience is a very tasteful understated elegance. It is stylish yet you feel at home here. Claudio has always had a flair for immaginative plates of the freshest fish which are not only deliscious but an absolute work of art on a plate. His antipasto comes in a huge selection of raw, cold and hot and they are all garnished with various fruits, flowers, nuts and sauces. Truly too good for words. Our particular favorites are the calamari served with crushed almonds and the little fish bites served with carmalized onions. The pastas and risotto dishes are all fantastic as are the selections of seconds. His wine selection is also quite exceptional. The service is attentive and you are left with the impression that they really do care about your dinning experience. If you like great tasting fish served with a touch of refinement and style then Margazzil will not disappoint you.

A warm and welcoming to enjoy appetizers, pasta dishes and fish and vegetarian.
I headed to this restaurant with a colleague on a mid-week evening, in very low season (end of November). The restaurant was actually almost empty, and it stayed that way for the whole time of our dinner. This feature initially led me to be a bit suspicious, but doubts disappeared when the ordered food came at our table. We chose a first course, and we also ordered the home appetizers ("Antipasto dei pani e dei pesci") as main dish. The choice turned out to be happy, because the appetizers were so varied and abundant, to fully replace the main dish itself. These appetizers were a lot of small, hot and cold dishes of fish, seafood, vegetables, served in a row, all delicious. As first course, both of us chose small dumplings with cuttlefish, scampi and smoked provola.Noteworthy: a complimentary offer of stewed small peppers (one of them, the red one, was very spicy) was brought to our table, awaiting the first course. The bread and the breadsticks also were excellent. The bill, also including two glasses of white wine, and water, was fair, about 70 euros in two.

BR1 was born from the recovery of an eighteenth-century building overlooking Largo Belvedere in Montesilvano Colle. The renovation was carried out with the idea of reviving the original nature of the building and returning it to the village renovated in i
We have visited BR1 twice. The first time we both had the Chef's tasing menu paired with wine. The second time we ordered dishes from the menu - apps, primi, secondi, and dolce. Positives: creative menu, good use of local foods, professional prep, good wait staff, nice patio views. Negatives: some dishes were very tasty, some dishes missed the mark. Chef appears to vary his seasoning dish to dish. We found some of the dishes very bland, and would not order again. Other dishes had excellent blend of flavors. We would still recommend this restaurant. Our opinion is that there are other, better restaurants in the area if you find them. TOSTO comes to mind, although it does not offer the views provided by the BR1 terrace.

L Ristorante Regina Elena is located in the heart of the city just a few steps from the sea, the Director Gianni Olivieri is happy to welcome you in an environment at the same time simple and elegant, with a professional and attentive service but not intr
The restaurant has a perfect location, being close to the city's main square, Piazza Salotto. The location must be the key to its top ranking, as many visitors pass here and review. The service is excellent. The dishes are expensive, not original and not abundant. I found them overpriced for what they were like. We had starters and first or second dishes. The classic pasta with mussels was bland which is really upsetting when you pay higher than average for it. Grilled fish fillets were nice, but nothing more and the portion was tiny. The dishes were all decorated with blue stripes that made us wonder what that was. Overall: average, but good food, overpriced, not a memorable gastronomic experience.

A joy to eat such beautifully prepared food, all super fresh and very reasonably priced. Fantastic array of choices. Very friendly service and full of locals grabbing lunch too. Enjoyed the radicchio salad, the octopus and potato salad, and the stuffed aubergine. Cakes to die for, we opted for an apple sponge to go with our coffee. 30 Euro for a bloomin good (but sadly, booze-free) lunch!Thank you so much!! p.s. We have also typical liquors!!

This place restored our faith in the ability of Abruzzi to cook fish. Choice of pesce crudo included oysters, smoked salmon, tuna Tatar, marinated anchovies and shrimp. Grilled pesce spada was fresh and not a least bit dry, paccheri with crab and shrimps were good and spaghetti frutti di mare even better, with perfect dose of garlic, parsley and laurel leaf. Very good white from Chieti. Friendly, attentive service, prices more than reasonable. Definitely weâll go back.

Reading reviews on TripAdvisor, those for Sette Vele were the only ones that inspired me to opt for a fish dinner in Montesilvano. And as already said in the previous reviews the restaurant is great in every aspect of it - the atmosphere, the service and the food. There was a good amount of space between the tables, the music was soft and the lighting was not too bright providing for a relaxed atmosphere. The waiter was friendly, attentive and overall I would rate the service as very professional. Also the chef came out of the kitchen to greet the guests. For the starter I chose the suggestion by chef which consisted of five small dishes and the waiter explained that the exact composition of the plate would vary according to the fresh produce availability and chef's inspiration. For the main dish I ordered swordfish with pistachio and asparagus. And I ordered a glass of Trebbiano d'AbruzzoAfter I had placed the order the waiter brought an amuse-bouche, a glass of Pecorino spumante and a basket with different bread straight out of the oven. The starter consisted of cold and hot "assaggini" (small portions) and the waiter suggested the tasting order for the best appreciation of the different flavors: prawn in a half of a passion fruit, slices of slightly grilled marinated tuna, courgette flowers stuffed with ricotta and shellfish on a puree of violet potatoes, "sarde in agrodolce" (sweet and sour sardines) and prawns in creamy ginger sauce. My favorites were the courgette flowers and the creamy ginger sauce, I ended up mopping up the sauce with bread. The swordfish was tender and paired perfectly with pistachio and asparagus. They had nice choice of desserts, but I was full, so I ended the meal with a coffee and amaro. The bill totaled 40 euro.
