Went to this restaurant for a change to our hotel food. Varied menu of fresh fish, steak, chicken and local meat dishes. We had shrimp soup, flat breads with dips, fries, salad baked whole fish and grilled prawns. The quality was very good, well cooked and it was tasty. The restaurant was clean and well furnished. The service was very good, with nibbles and drinks arriving very quickly and the main dishes took around half an hour to arrive. A meal for two with starters and a soft drink each was 36 pounds. Parking was directly outside the restaurant, very close to the Fish Market. Would return again.

We went to Sohar on a day trip from United Arab Emirates. Due to the delay in passing the border control, we did not arrive at Sohar until after 2:30pm.Since we were late for the lunch, there were not many people in the restaurant (even it was Friday, weekend in this part of the world). We did get quite attentive service from our Filipina waitress.The food is actually quite good. It is mainly a seafood restaurant. However, since the chef is Indian, most dishes (but not all) are curry-flavored. Since both my companion and I love curry, we enjoy their food very much. They also have a nice hummus and Arabic bread (pita, though they don't call it pita) as appetizer before the main courses arrived.Our meals for two with non-alcoholic drinks cost less 20 Omani Rials. It is not cheap but also not very expensive. And we totally enjoyed it!
