Had a great meal, great server, at a great price. Food was very well seasoned, hot and plentiful. Waitress kept in touch and made sure we were well satisfied, drinks filled and several baskets of Delicious Cheese rolls. Highly recommend .Glad to hear you enjoyed your meal at our Dover Red Lobster!

This place needed a refresher, which it got. Menu very similar to the previous operator. Wife wanted to try the lobster special which was a 1 lb. steamed lobster for $19.95. I opted for the broiled salmon. Both came out fresh, with julienne vegetables. Wife's lobster was actually closer to 1 1/4 lb., which she appreciated. We both enjoyed the entrees, as well as the biscuits, which were a copycat to the Red Lobster offering. Beer was the same price as in the casino, but wine was more expensive. Service was very good - but we were not in a busy setting.
Pleasanton's is TAKE OUT Only -- They are famous for their crabs (hardshell blue crabs) They tend to be a bit pricey (being a local, we get our crabs right from the waterman)

Male server was great! Bisque was just a tiny bit salty. Three of us got various seafood dishes & one got a chicken plate...all of us liked our meals. Drinks are expensive. Atmosphere is low-key & we all enjoyed it. Plan to go back again. Found a place to buy great pole limas on the trip back to civilization from this remote area.

We are here on a local recommendation and weren't disappointed! This restaurant IS in the boondocks. The excellent food, fun atmosphere and friendly service trumps that.We tried the "pig out" and would recommend it if you are looking for a sampling. Dungeness crab, shrimp, corn, chicken wings, fries - what's not to love?Side note - if you are a fan of refills on soda, get a pitcher up front. Refills are extra and this is a less expensive choice.Save room for dessert! The apple dumplings with caramel sauce and ice cream were perfect! Enjoy!

Brown butcher paper and a roll of paper towels on the tables, pictures of family and locals on the wall and delicious local seafood served fresh and delicious. Family owned and operated for 66 years, in fact the restaurant was named after its original fisherman owner who was called Sambo. If you want good seafood ask a local and so we did; Samboâs fit the bill. Their crab bisque was creamy and delicious with lots of crab no filler. My flounder sandwich was huge. The fish was flaky and moist served with a side of hand cut french fries. Please keep in mind this was a cash only restaurant, attire and attitude is casual. Ample parking in front of and across the road was available.
