The San Pierino opens its doors in the splendid estate that once housed the "Tessiturificio Bacci", adapted to the needs of a modern Trattoria of meat and fish, managed by young boys and girls who have been in the Florentine restaurant for over twenty yea
At Trattoria San Pierino--against my wife's  better judgment--I ordered the appetizer of anchovies marinated in onions. I thought I would be getting a small sampling; instead a large plate showed up, covered with anchovies swimming in lemony oil with marinated onions. They were the best I have ever tasted, so good, in fact, that my wife even tried a couple and actually proclaimed them edible. For our main dishes my wife ordered the pasta with meat sauce that came out steaming, mixed with a savory Tuscan meat sauce. Tuscan cuisine does not use much tomato, so the meat sauce is rich with the flavor of, well, meat and juices. She almost polished off the entire bowl.My order was veal steak with vegetables and, of course, roasted potatoes. The steak was not a true chop, rather more like an entrecôte cut, but the flavor was outstanding. I all but gnawed off the last scraps from the bone. Altogether, despite the annoying "coperta," we found this to be an excellent establishment that we would recommend to anyone. Thanks

We were a little nervous when the menu was all in Italian. We started with our translation app but with the bilingual waiter we were fluent in Italian seafood by the end of the night. Service and seafood was outstanding. Lively place at 10 pm on a Wednesday night.

In una rilassante atmosfera araba Cherlot offre pietanze e sapori Marocchini ed un piacevole aperitivo dalla ore 18 in poi..
Personnel is very kind and helpful, and even very good at selling their dishes. The suggested appetizer is the "taste everything", something like 8 or 10 very small samples of the available entrees, very good mix of vegetables, meats, and spices full of aroma. Main dishes are less attractive, prices are not cheap.

I wish I had found this restaurant before my final night in Florence. I had a ticket for the Fiorentina match so it was a very hurried dinner but I would have eaten there more if I had found the place sooner!I had the best Calzone I have ever eaten and a half litre of their excellent house red wine a bottle of water and the bill was about 17 euros - an absolute bargain. The setting was charming in a little square in front of a church. The staff were very friendly and, whilst I was able to muddle along in my limited Italian, they were speaking good English to other guests. If and when I return to Florence I will be back!

ADAGIO promotes Italian specialty foods and wines and the areas they come from, enhancing artisan productions and rediscovering the culture and the traditions that such foods are able to evoke. Beverages and seasonal foods made by local producers in short
From the moment we stepped in I knew it was going to be good. Farm to table freshness. Great food, great service and all at a very reasonable price. A must for the diner that wants to experience cuisine, simple but with great imagination.Thank you so much Robert, we appreciate it.

Osteria with revisited and gluten-free Tuscan cuisine.

I took my husband for his 50's birthday to this restaurant as both of us LOVE seafood. I tried to call the reservation number but never got through so we decided to drop in around 7pm on a weekday night, which is very early dinner time for Italians. There was only one table available till 9pm and we decided to take it. So we had to order rather in hurry. Food was very good and service was also very efficient but we did feel a bit hurried. I would like to return with a proper reservation.

Visited here twice during our holiday as we were staying a short walk away.... very unassuming from the outside but the welcome from the staff was great. Some staff spoke little English but the main waiter was great explaining menus and making recommendations. Very reasonably priced and lots of variety on the menu (good amount of veggie options)Mainly locals eating here but a must try if only for the desserts!!

LOVED it! Read the reviews on this place and decided to make the 40 min drive for lunch with our group of 15. We were not disappointed!! The owner treated us like family and was so gracious and welcoming. And in addition to that, the food was so fresh and tasty! The owner brought out some lovely fresh bread and locally made meats & cheeses, then made us a few bowls of different pastas for the table (rabbit ragu, cream gnocchi with asparagus and pesto pasta). Just wonderful, donât miss it!thanks so mutch for the nice worlds... it has been a pleasure to have all of you here...wishing to see you as soon as possibleciao Michele e Francesca
