The Ohana Grill offers the finest seafood cooked to perfection with inviting dishes to tantalize you taste buds. We offer steak, pork, and chicken dishes for those who aren't seafood eaters. We have tried to design a menu with something for everyone witho
Overall the food is good. The servers are helpful and friendly. The hosts on the other hand...not pleasant. After they rudely greeted us and sat us down, they then turned away a group of 10 behind us because they were there 20 minutes early. We sat next to an empty table of 10 for 20 minutes. When they came back, she sat them at the table. I realize they do this to help the kitchen out, but they don't have to be so rude about it. The atmosphere is basic - an L shaped room inside with a large open window to the kitchen where you can watch the chefs, so the restaurant does get smokey. No views to the outside at all. Odd entry on the side of the building and the front outdoor eating area is in front of another business too so its a bit odd. BYOB. There is a liquor store across the street. Definitely make reservations or the hosts will make you feel terrible if you actually show up without one. And after you make a reservation, they call you multiple times before your reservation to make sure you know the policy that they will give your table away if you are over 15 minutes late. Really? You told me when I made the reservation. I don't need 2 additional calls to let me know.

I've been here before and have enjoyed many a meal here but this time it was so so- the lobster nachos were great and fun. My steak was overcooked but well seasoned and my scallops were sweet and perfectly cooked. Sadly, my daughters salmon was dry and under-seasoned. Another child in our party ordered crab legs and we were all shocked to see that it came with nothing- just the crab legs- no veggies, no potato. We were not served bread when we sat down- usually we are. The waitress looked familiar, I sure we've had her before but she seemed very unfamiliar with the menu. She did compliment us on our kids outstanding behavior (they were pretty good that night). The restaurant was not busy at all when we arrived around 8pm. Kind of an off experience for this place as I've eaten here many times before. I left disappointed this time around. Too bad- I used to really enjoy Park Seafood!

We were in Lavalette looking at rental properties and decided to stop at the Crabâs Claw for lunch. The waiter mentioned they had fresh-caught scrod, so we both ordered the beer battered scrod sandwich. It arrived hot and tasted delicious! It was accompanied by fries, also crisp, hot and delicious! There arenât a lot of shore restaurants open in Winter, but the Crabâs Claw does it right?

Visit Goobers Shore Thing at the Jersey Shore. Our Southern/Cajun restaurant offers catering and live entertainment. You'll love our signature sauce.
I came here with my daughter and her friends - the outside is deceiving you need to go in. In fact staff and the police staff eat here. The oweners are from SC and are a delight to speak to. I had pulled pork that was good. The mac and cheese bites were out of this world. I finally had decent sweet tea. My daughter got the shrimps that were delicious and get the fries. We did not have a bad dish here. I hope they come back next year.

Had "take out" for lunch here and it was very good. Chicken sandwich and a salad. I wanted to add quinoa to my salad (which was an option on the board) but they where not sure any had been made at lunch. When they asked the chef he did not know what quinoa was. I thought about slowly backing out of the restaurant as if I had walked into some kind of flashback before quinoa was popular. Nevertheless lunch was delicious.Returned with a party of 8 for dinner a few days later (with reservations). The menu is not extensive but very appealing. Prices are not cheap but being a BYOB they make their money on the food.I ordered the Fried Eggplant Burrata appetizer ($15) and the Premium Reserve Pork Chop ($28) and an order of the Truffle Fries ($7). I also asked about getting a half order of one of the pastas since they looked so good. Being Italian... pasta is like religion. I've got to try it. Waiter said they don't do that. I asked to talk to the owner who knows a friend of mine. The waiter said he would ask him to stop over. He never came and the waiter never acknowledged that they wouldn't accommodate my request. The eggplant app was very good, like a Napoleon. It was crispy with tender cheese and delicious sauce. Very very good. The truffle fries tasted great. But didn't need ketchup on the side. Why ruin the truffle flavour????The pork chop was thick and juicy. A smear of sweet potateo, some apricot and a couple of brussel sprouts but I was left envious of those around me who had pasta.I tried the mushroom pasta ribbons. Good, but the flavours seemed more asian than Italian. I also tried the bucatini pasta which was pretty good. But my heart was still longing for the orecchiette with sausage and broccolini. I went over to the waiter and ordered a whole portion since they didn't deign to sell me a half portion. It was delicious. Even after the pork chop it was not a problem to finish the plate... especially since the chop only came with a smear of stuff.Dessert was a cheese cake made by some local "girl"? We tried it and it was a very good ricotta cheese cake. Light and tasty. Overall this place is a refreshing change to the usual fare on the shore. It's good quality in a hip decor with good food. It's upscale in a beachy way without the pretentiousness of some of the old school Italian restaurants around here.

5 star dining at 2 star pricing Great Seafood, Steaks, Chicken, and Italian Come see us Saturday and Sunday for our new Seafood Brunch Stop next door at Surf Liquors to add something to our fresh squeezed juices or virgin bloody mary
We were both in the mood for fish but after reading some reviews we both zeroed in on the lobster dishes. I had the stuffed lobster my boyfriend the paella. Neither dish disappointed, beautifully presented & very tasty. Although my boyfriend said the paella was nothing like heâd ever had before (weâve had in Spain as well as Newark Portuguese restaurants) he said it was delicious. The inside is not much to look at & the outside seating is very simple as well with picnic tables but the food is the real star here!

Another season of solid Italian seafood favorites. Started out with hot antipasti featuring best calamari, decent shrimp and ok breaded clams. Wife and mom had the shrimp oreganata while I went with the flounder. The latter was superior but all tossed with a flavorful pasta peppered with garlic. Table service attentive and setting always attractive. Be sure to get there early to avoid lengthy wait as some patrons never seem to end their meal.

New restaurant where Ava's by the bay was.
usually the food is great but on this night the entrees were uneatable. first my wife ordered general tsos chicken/shrimp with brocolli instead of peppers. i ordered general tsos shrimp/scallops. her meal comes out loaded with peppers and even had scallops in it which she doesnt eat. it was beyond spicy hot where you felt your lips were burning. couldnt eat it. mine had chicken it, the scallops were never coated and were the size of nickels when in the past i always got the big scallops. mine was also too spicy hot and uneatable. manager girl came over, first blaming waittress which it wasnt her fault, she didnt cook the stuff. then she tries telling me the scallops shrunk. sent it all back and left. made sure to tell manager on way out door our anniversary dinner was ruined
