Half way between Trapani and Agrigento is the town of Sciacca, follow the road to the beach and you will find Papaleâ beach. Super service, helpful and friendly I regret just having a sandwich/panini as i saw the mains that came out after I had ordered. Donât get me wrong the panini hit the spot!

We stopped here for a light lunch following a morning of great beach combing on the local beach. The setting is absolutely spectacular with big open windows out to the ocean in an ample dining room. The food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious and all made in house, including things like their own marinated olives and anchovies. The owner, Salvatore, is charming and a semi-native English speaker. Prices were more than reasonable. As we are renting a villa nearby, we are looking forward to several more visits.

An unexpected and amazing place in Sciacca. A very typical and friendly atmosphere, amazing fresh oysters, tasty gambas and langouste/lobster. Can only highly recommend this place for the food, but also for the great service and this charismatic chef. What an amazing night, grazie mille! Weâll be back as soon as we can!

We had an amazing lunch at Antica Osteria Della Vittoria. From the starters till dessert, everything was delicious. We had the beef cigars and salmon as starters, then the pasta with chili flakes and black ravioli as main. As dessert, the caneloni was just perfection. House wine fit perfectly and the cherry on top was a fantastic limoncello. Also worth to mention, everyone there was the friendliest ever. Sergio put a big smile on our face with his excellent Spanish. Buenisima onda! I would go back to this restaurant any time. Must try!

In the port area of Sciacca, dropped in for late lunch at what appeared to be a casual dining restaurant. The service was extremely friendly and the table outside very comfortable. The major surprise was the food, truly innovative fine dining! The place has been transformed by the owner's daughter and her husband, much-travelled in Asia, who offer excellent food way ahead of its modest location. The monkfish and crustacean crudités were exceptional.Go there!

The Hostaria del Vicolo, founded with Nino Bentivegna in 1983, is located in the historic center of the city of Sciacca, inside a Norman alley in front of the city's municipal building. The restaurant has a valuable location, located between the Palaces,
We thought the food in Sicily was fantastic in general, but this restaurant was a particular standout. It is small and lovely inside, and the service was about as warm and friendly as we've ever seen anywhere. As for the food, top-notch in all respects. There were four of us and we had both pasta and seafood and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. It was perhaps my favorite meal in 20 days of good food, so that's saying a lot. Do yourself a favor and sample this restaurant. Truly special!

This is a little place where locals eat in the outskirts of Sciacca. It looks like a family run place and everyone was extremely friendly. The portions are huge so keep that in mind, but everything is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. We tried the price-fixed dinner and it was so much and delicious food. I will never forget heir spaghetti al cartoccio, it sounds like heaven to my Italian ears pasta cooked inside pizza dough! So yummy. Their pizzas are also delicious. Highly recommended if staying in or passing by Sciacca.

Cantine De Gregorio wine and food have reached downtown Sciacca. New location, same people. Come visit us in Via Garibaldi nr. 33, where our smiling staff will be more than happy to greet you.
Restaurant is located in a pedestrianised area of Sciacca, we went relatively early on Saturday evening, arriving about 8pm seated outside with a gentle breeze. We weren't rushed, service was attentive, whilst choosing or selection they brought out a basket of vegetables in a lite batter (tempura) which were lovely. We decided to skip starters and selected main courses of pasta, ghnocci and fish (salted) accompanied with salad and fries as sides. All the mains were excellent, simple uncomplicated and delicious. The main were accompanied by a lovely white wine from the restaurants own vin yard.Would recommend and suspect we will return during our stay Sciacca.

We were fortunate that the cantine was serving lunch - definitely recommend e-mailing them to check that it is being served particularly if off-season.The setting is idyllic, surrounded by olive groves and well-kept lawns; we were given a tour of the facility including the old tower which forms the centre of the restaurant/winery building. The restaurant has art by local artists, as well as a beautiful eating area, which includes a room overlooking the olive groves which is used a lot in the winter. Food was a "chef's choice" menu, and was reasonably priced including glasses of 2 white and 1 rose wine. Each of the courses, which comprised mainly seafood, (appropriate given the location of the winery), was excellent, very unique and with good combinations of dishes. Highly recommended!

Our hotel recommended this restaurant that is situated right in the fishing harbour. We came here on spec at lunchtime and were given the last table. The starter of seafood salad was marinated seafood and excellent although small as it was 'fine dining'. This was followed by a very good seafood risotto and a mixed salad that we shared. Very good service and a reasonable Sicilian wine. Not the cheapest of places at â¬110 for lunch with no desert but thoroughly enjoyable.
