This beach is fantastic and has a sandbar that goes from beach sand to a reef (about 1km) where you can visit it during low tide with blue-green and clear water in the knees! The restaurant is a great place to spend the day at this beach. The menu is regional food with good presentation and value for money. I ordered the breaded shrimp and a dish was well suited for a family (2 adults + 2 children).

Not only this restaurant serves an excelent food but also they have beds for us to rest. I recommend the sea food.

The title of this review expresses my thoughts when I was told we were eating lunch at Mauricioâs on my first visit to Brazil in 2014. Luckily, after three trips, and three meals at Mauricioâs, I am happy to say they were not kidding. Not only that, I am glad they took me there. Mauricioâs is in what appears to be the main shopping area for the town of Sao Jose da Coroa Grande. It is just up the street from two Supermercados and is one of many businesses on the street. As with most places in that town, it is open-air, meaning the ambiance is highly dependent on temperature and humidity. Each time I have been there was with a large group. Each time the host ordered, and each time it was the same thing, fried chicken, Brazilian style, with rice, beans and the Brazilian version of Pico do Gallo. Each time, it was great. One warning for folks from the U. S. They do not bread their chicken. They fry it skin-on and crispy. No cream gravy, biscuits or mashed potatoes, but no one in our group had any trouble with the meal. Oh! One other point. If you want hot sauce, bring your own. Brazilians, at least on the northeast coast, do not do spicy. The spiciest sauce weâve found is Gota, and a self-respecting bowl of gumbo would be ashamed if someone thought to spice it up with Gota. Not that Gota tastes bad. It just isnât much hotter than a banana pepper, if that hot. If you find yourself in Sao Jose Do Coroa Grande, give Mauricioâs some thought.

I believe that a good restaurant experience includes AMBIANCE, SERVICE, and GOOD FOOD. Sabor de Maragogi, right on the beach in Peroba (next to Hotel Praia Azul) has them all. Since moving from Barra Grande Beach to its new location, the quality of all three areas has improved significantly. My wife and I really enjoyed the experience at Sunday lunch yesterday. And what a view!

The food was delicious, and the waiters were very polite. The price is normal. My wife and I and friends enjoyed this restaurant. The fish was very nice.

The food was delicious and the price was excellent. I had the "Camarão ao Côco" and the portion was more than enough to share. The restaurant is spacious and the staff is very friendly.

At the border of Pernambuco and Alagoas states and 15 min by car from Maragogi. The beach just in front before the river in between / border in the states (at the Alagoas side, coming from Maragogi) is the best place in the region during the low tide.I went there two time while in those Buggy's trip and in one of them we went to the restaurant for lunch with the kids.It is a nice restaurant for the small ones, mine is 3y, but the beach in front of it was not nice for them, nor beautiful as well, but the do have a nice playground area for them at the back of the restaurant. Also the meal was nice and we were well served by the waiters with care and attention. But we went during a low season time so the place was empty. The price is the same as the others one we tried.I do recommend it.
