After being away for over a year, we had high hopes. Upon entering, we were pleasantly pleased with the recent remodel. The restaurant looked fantastic. Nicely done. That said, the meal itself was horrible. We ordered the Kings seafood combo. The plate was over priced and even worse was the skimpy serving and quality. Fish was so greasy, we got sick. Fries were soggy. We should have complained immediately The only thing that saved the meal was the dessert which was good.

I ordered the chicken platter. Food was outstanding and very fresh. They have a salsa bar as well. Would definitely come back.

We have been going to the Crab Cooker in Newport Beach for 50 years. We were sorry to hear they had to rebuild the building and it was closed. We went to the one in Tustin. This one doesn't have quite the atmosphere and the food was not quite as good. That being said, the cracked crab was very sweet. the romano potatoes were very good. The coleslaw not very flavorful. Still a good place to get crab.

Service was better than averageFood could have been good but EVERYTHING was covered with something, sauce, gravy, coconut scrapings, etc. Simpler would have been much better ... UNLESS they were hiding suboptimal quality. Maybe??

New location of the legendary Anaheim landmark specializing in fresh seafood, 28 day aged steaks, select tableside preparations, and a lounge designed to be the new home for Angels, Ducks, and concert fans serving 20 craft beers on tap and several gourmet
As we were escorted to our table we were able to admire fresh fish and beautiful cuts of steak. We were promptly seated and provided menus. Our waiter was informative, and dealt with several trips back and forth till we were ready to choose our food. There were some delays in our ultimate order placement, and from the appetizers to the entrees. This may have been impacted by a very large group seated some time after us. We decided to try both calamari appetizers and all enjoyed the dragon version, more mixed reviews on the standard breaded version. Some found the latter batter a bit heavy. There was a small cup of dip for this, could have been more generous to match the generous amount of calamari. Most of us tried the tasting menu with good success including a large ceviche portion, ceasar salads and good sized fish servings (sea bass, snapper) and a huge bowl of ciopinno. One person opted for steak which was another large portion. The lobster bisque was creamy though a bit of sweetness and unclear lobster input. My chopped salad was also quite generous and nicely dressed. Desserts were the flourless chocolate cake, also sizeable servings and a small creme brulee with fresh berries. Wine list was decent depth, though mostly higher price range. Overall a good, not amazing experience.Napalovers,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. A once-every-couple-of-years reunion with old friends over dinner at Water Grill. The setting is lovely - a large, covered open air space with multiple bar and seating areas. A bit noisy, but that's normal for the size of hte restaurant.Entrees were black cod kabayaki and softshell crab, along with a couple glasses of Veuve Clicquot and a bottle our friends brought from home (no corkage was a big plus!). Excellent food, great service and the company of old friends. What could be finer?

I enjoyed Icelandic cod and it was fantastic. It was prepared well and flavorful. Service was excellent all around. The ambiance was fine - nothing amazing, and not bad. I would say that it did not feel like a mall restaurant, however. It was much nicer than what is typical. Enjoy!

Last night at Playground 2.0 was one incredibly exciting food and wine pairing adventure! Master Chef Jason Quinn is a creative genius. Such fresh, beautiful, some exotic, carefully selected vegetables, expressed as vegetables, nothing hidden, prepared with more of the freshest, most delightful ingredients that make me feel with each bite, like Iâm in heaven - no kidding! Each of the 12-14 dishes had such a variety of taste, texture, heat, salt, acid, sweet, spice, umami, crunch, and smoothness. A totally heavenly experience from beginning to end!
