Excellent food, warm and welcoming staff and very competitive prices in ideal location. Rice dishes are absolutely amazing. We tried arroz negro (black rice) and paella de langosta (lobster paella) are both were incredibly delicious. Mixed salad and grilled sardinas were really good as well. Furthermore, the menu had great options for all tastes combining traditional local food with more exotic options. Definitely worth another (a third) visit! Very recommendable!

Nice place but very slow service and prices are just a rip off. 26 euros for 10 small prawns. They did taste like nothing. Waste of money and time. I do NOT recommend.

Visited with teenage children and a five and one year old. Husband had the T-bone steak which he said was amazing. I had the salmon, again, to die for! The teens enjoyed pasta dishes and the youngsters had fish fingers and fries. Puddings were phenomenal too! Everybody was full and the service was polite, friendly and welcoming!

Seafood & Mediterranean restaurant situated in beautiful Cales Fonts harbour. Open from Easter till mid October.
Quite expensive, but was a lovely meal. Huge choice of fish on the menu. Portions were big. I had stir fried monkfish with onions and it was cooked really nicely, more delicate than I thought it would be. Gets very busy, need to book for dinner.

I think we were served by the owner and she was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Great outlook by the harbour. The food was a bit disappointing to me, it was very average I thought. I can't remember what we had now as it was a few weeks ago, but i'd hoped for better from the reviews. We were maybe spoilt as we had lunch at santa rita in Mahon, which is amazing!

Mediterranean cuisine restaurant, quiet and cozy, with an impressive terrace facing the sea. Pleasant and professional service. Specialized in rice (paella), fish and Menorcan spiny lobster dish (caldereta). Gastronomic proposals for all tastes: all day m
We visited as a family with a 2/3 year old twice during our stay. The paella was superb and there was ample for 4 hungry grown ups when ordering for 3. Fried sole, the monkfish stew type dishes and the cold fish pie starters was amazing. Riocha Rose was excellent and the beer was cold. The staff were very friendly and we were given a free liquer after paying the reasonable bill. They mad a special effort for the toddler with us and she didn't want to leave and wanted to return the following evening.Thank you, JRFossil. We are delighted you enjoyed the meals at El Faro. Our clients are very happy this year with the new dishes and Minorcan cuisine recipes.Thank you for the kind comment and we hope to see you again!

My wife and I had lunch here today and it was amazing. We had ham croquettes which were freshly made and probably the best I have had. We also had peppers stuffed with cod and my wife also had some scallops. Overall a fantastic tasting lunch and first class hosts. A must visit.Thank you very much

Fish and seafood, cold meat, homemade desserts and an excellent selection of wines are the speciality of the house. Although lunch and dinner are offered, there is also the possibility to acquire good wines and delicatessen products from the little store
I recently visited Barracuda for a family meal. We were not disappointed, the food, the surroundings, the interior, the staff and every little attention to detail could not be faulted. We went home full up on the most delicious seafood, good wine and amazing desserts. We all ordered different fish dishes and all of us commented on how fresh and perfectly cooked it was. The staff/owners were so accommodating and attentive especially with our very fidgety 3 year old. They made us feel very welcome, they even came out with the monk fish to check we were happy with the size etc. I would throughly recommend a trip to Barracuda especially if you are particularly into eating fresh fish. Itâs a culinary experience and well worth every penny.
