Our waitress had either put in too long of a shift or was in a bad mood. I had asked for the Pho and she told me they were all out, yet 10 minutes later the table next to us ordered and was served some. She also didnât fill our water glasses once.

On a recent visit to Saltspring, we ate dinner on the deck of Seaside Kitchen, looking at a spectacular harbour view and eating their delicious halibut and salmon entrees and creme caramel dessert. Our meal was accompanied by a bottle of good, reasonably priced wine. We enjoyed our experience so much that we came back the next day for lunch and shared a halibut burger and plump, tasty Saltspring mussels. HIghly recommended.

We had a great experience here two nights in a row. The servers were fun, energetic and outstanding. Thanks Cam. The food was delicious and the doughnuts are a must to share with your group for dessert. Excellent musical evening entertainment provided by Tom Hooper when we were there. Tom, it was a pleasure to meet you and hear your God given talent.

Two of us had burgers, one had the quesadilla daily special. All of them were delicious (we traded bites). The chicken had been perfectly grilled before being put into the burger and quesadilla. Wow! What flavour!Lots & lots of fries which arrived hot and tempting. We left some so we could indulge in the amazing ginger spice cake with caramel sauce. The fries-sacrifice was worth it.In short: one of the best quesadillas we've had in ages. Plus an excellent dessert. We look forward to going back there.

This is a no-nonsense fish shop, displaying freshly caught and frozen local seafood and fish. Staff are very helpful and will make recommendations. We bought fresh oysters which were deliciously fresh and sweet - ate them waiting for the ferry to Pender Island! We later BBQ'd the salmon we bought and it was delicious.
